Hey hi. I have a question. I'm thinking of atarung knights of the fallen empire. But before starting I want that classic star wars card u know how they show before the movies and your class story. How do I see that and then start KOTFE?
I always wondered why Swtor team changed the style of the game so quickly, like dont get me wrong I know it wasnt the mega success that EA expected and I know they pulled money out of it quite quickly but still it cant be just that. It was most certainly very profitable quite quickly and it still is for sure, yet the content has been slowing down and trickling in and even the expansions seem barely little more than big patches for other mmos. The game had severe lack of endgame at launch and it took quite a lot of time to fix, but I even in the first year when the game was at its peak the incoming content was barely existent, the very first expansion was the biggest (at least imo) but it still didnt really last very long at all, and while I did love Kotet and Kotfe they were a very different kind of content once again. I love swtor stories and play it almost solely for them but I just cant believe that they didnt have some sort of roadmap of where they were going to take the story, what content they would add. I dont know if the team got really cut down after launch or if working with the engine is as terrible as I have heard but it feels like most mmos out there do things very differently than Swtor. Either smallish injections of content dlc like, as ESO does or larger patches that add a lot of content on all ends like FF XIV and WoW. I adore swtor, it just pains me to think that it has looked on life support for a couple of years now and while I love what it is, I cant help but think of what it could have been. Id rather pay 60 bucks for an actualy full on expansion with months of content, then nothing for a few hours of story, one new raid and few repeatable dailies. Why is it that adding larger amounts of content is so hard for swtor? I wish to all gods in existence that if one day this game shuts down they release an offline version with everything it has for people to just buy and play.
I would've loved to see more, but I understand why they were discontinued. Truth is, while the history of the galaxy goes much further back, the important events leading up to the main plot of the game have already been covered. Watching these show just how out of touch Disney truly is with fans. This here is outstanding and the exact thing fans adore. What Disney has produced is near opposite of this stellar production.
How interesting he called Revan’s war the “Jedi Civil War.” As among he Jedi, it was called the Second Sith War, because they think Revan and Malak are no longer Jedi, but Sith…which they are. However to the galaxy at large, normies, they don’t know what Jedi or Sith are. The days of Naga Sadow’s Sith invasion was long in the history. Exar Kun’s war never really impacted average people as much as one think and nobody knew he was a Sith or Jedi, just an invading army. Revan, however, is a well known Jedi General against the Mandalorians. So people thought “oh these stupid Jedi squabbles and infightings. Why drag the rest of us in, can’t you figure it out yourselves?” (Paraphrasing of course.) The Jedi lost huge support after Star Forge goes down, which contributed partially to the down fall with the Darth Treya’s Sith Triumvirate.
I would've loved to see more, but I understand why they were discontinued. This is why I love Legends way more than cannon. It's a shame they never did more of these. Ending is real cliff hanger. Makes me wanna know what happened before The Great Hyperspace War.

So clearly Master Dural didn't know about Revan and Malak's discovery of the Sith academy on Malachor V if he thinks they were corrupted to the Dark Side only after meeting Tenebrae.
The records are in the right order. Bioware simply decided to explain the current timeframe of the game's story first and then explore the context that lead to it in order of relevance.

@@Swtorista oh I'm well aware. I used to watch them as they were coming out, just never got around to seeing them compiled together. Great job btw. And who knows, maybe we'll get something special for the 10th anniversary 🤞🏿
I am still sad BW never finished these since you can on the website see that there are seven entries missing.. Left me sad that they couldn't be arsed to get it all complet as it added soo much to the lore of the game.
They were so good I wish they had been continued!
@@Swtorista Yeah me to. Hell even if they had only done the voice lines and not the art work it would have been great!
Great job. Thanks. I was looking for these
its a shame they stopped the historical timeline videos after 12th. there were supposed to be more.
As I understand it, the reason they stopped was because it was getting too far from the timeframe of the actual story.
@@FireLordJohn3191 still a shame, i was really into Expanded Universe and loved those videos. was on wookiepedia every day.
I think they were going backwards, not forwards. The website points to some more topics to xover
@@Swtorista they were, it started with treaty of coruscant and they went into the past, slowly unfolding events that lead to the Swtor.
Is it me, or does every Kel Dor have a smooth baritone voice... That i could listen to for hours
Thanks for putting this together!
I love these lore stories
I love that Lance Henriksen is the voice of master Dural
I love the battle of Bothawui
The Republic: Genocide the Sith and killed 75% of their race
The Republic: Tries to wipe out 98% of the Sith race AGAIN
Somehow this is the "Good Guy"
"The Republic still owes us a few millennia of slavery after what they did to us" - Sith Warrior conversation with Treek
Awesome video. Thank you 💖
I had no idea that Admiral Hackett was an alien Jedi Master in another universe.
We need more stuff like this in the game to be honest.
I really wish that this video log had continued all the way back to the Force Wars on Tython.
it was so good!
I really wish they kept making these.
I would've loved to see more, but I understand why they were discontinued. Truth is, while the history of the galaxy goes much further back, the important events leading up to the main plot of the game have already been covered. Except for the origin of the Sith, everything else before the Great Hyperspace War is irrelevant.
Watching these show just how out of touch Disney truly is with fans. This here is outstanding and the exact thing fans adore. What Disney has produced is near opposite of this stellar production.
They need a SWTOR 2
Definitely not. If Bioware was to make a new star wars MMORPG they wouldn’t make it inside the old republic.
Aren't you missing one at the end? He says I'll elaborate in my next report but it ends there. Maybe there isn't but I thought there was
That's all there is. I actually lengthened the ending screen because if that
How interesting he called Revan’s war the “Jedi Civil War.” As among he Jedi, it was called the Second Sith War, because they think Revan and Malak are no longer Jedi, but Sith…which they are.
Why drag the rest of us in, can’t you figure it out yourselves?” (Paraphrasing of course.)
The Jedi lost huge support after Star Forge goes down, which contributed partially to the down fall with the Darth Treya’s Sith Triumvirate.
Imagine his reaction if he met Kreia.
Finding out that conflict was not because of Jedi nor Sith, but The Force's fault.
this was entertaining and informative.. ty for sharing
I still watch these timeline videos every now and then. They are just so good. Shame they never completed it.

First like, comment, and view. Keep up the good work and stay safe as always. May the force be with you
Can someone post time stamps for each recording?
it's a good way to watch backwards (chronologically)!
ah!! if anyone does this, message me on gmail with my same username, discord or reddit and ill add them! (i might not see them in comments)
Strange that there is no mention of The Sith Triumvirate and the First Jedi Purge or The Jedi Exile.
Bioware might have been like, "yeah that sequel to our game... never really mattered."
Galactic Republic after the Great Hyperspace War: Ha! We really sent the Sith packin' to the Unknown Regions! That'll teach em' who's boss!
Sith Empire emerging a millenia later: *Blumenkranz intensifies*
i could have sworn that some youtuber made a "lost chapter" to this compilation to try and finish the history, i feel like i've seen it. Swtorista you're the expert, didn't some fan make a fanmade final chapter this series? edit: IT WAS YOU WASN'T IT?! You made the "final chapter" didn't you?
LOL!!! I don't know of anyone who has made list chapters. I kinda want to now. But I HAVE made a few lore videos in a similar format about Dantooine, onderon, issue.
@@Swtorista yep no i was confusing your video "Ancient Sith Lords of Star Wars" with a fabled "lost chapters" video that hasn't been made...yet
Oh, so Ossus is from Exar Kuns time. It's so hard to keep the order of ancient jedi homeworlds right.
It would be easier to follow if the story was told in a more accurate chronological order of events
If you want, there is a playlist on the official swtor account and you can just play them backwards I think. They are not meant to be chronological, instead they're meant to explain where the sith empire' state came from.
I found it really interesting 👏
His voice reminds me of Admiral Hackett...is it Hackett? It is HACKETT! YES!
I would watch a movie in battlefront 2 style storytelling!
😂- I don’t know why I thought YOU were narrating a new version that included all of the current dlc’s/expansions 😂
Sorry man that would be great :p
This is a gem
I would rather see this continued until the end instead of cancelled
Those were the days of obsessive f5's for the friday updates lol...
I wish they'd finished this!
They technically did. I would've loved to see more, but truth is, while the history of the galaxy goes much further back, the important events leading up to the main plot of the game have already been covered. Except for the origin of the Sith, everything else before the Great Hyperspace War is irrelevant.
Also notice how BIoWare kinda... ignored Kotor 2 here :D not talking at all about it. I wish they wouldnt touch it because what they did with the Exile is a shame.
I need to see the next hollo record
All done :(
Such a good vid
This is so good
I kind of feel bad that if we let him live it is only to be torture like no tomorrow
Best to kill him right away then. Almost like an act of Mercy really.
This was sooo.... long ago.
And of course, it abruptly ends when it was starting to get real good.
This is why I love Legends way more than cannon. It's a shame they never did more of these. Ending is real cliff hanger. Makes me wanna know what happened before The Great Hyperspace War.
I would've loved to see more, but I understand why they were discontinued. How can I expand my credit space because I can only have 1,000,000 credits?
You must subscribe.
@@Swtorista 🙁ok. Thank you for help.🙂
This is beautiful.
But now the important question remains - was Hylo Visz's wealth more than Nok Drayen's?
I'm surprised thier wasn't any record log on Freedon Nadd
31:33 basicly everyone who says Grey Jedi is the right way :D
6:11 hey wait this looks familiar 🤔
So clearly Master Dural didn't know about Revan and Malak's discovery of the Sith academy on Malachor V if he thinks they were corrupted to the Dark Side only after meeting Tenebrae.
Yes! Actually I think this takes place before the book where we learn more about that!
thank you
He never elaborated his next report on Ajunta Pall and the first Dark Jedi who founded the Sith order. Shame on you, Gnost Durall!
Ahh almost 11 years ago....
Nearly five months since upload and only ONE dislike! That is incredible!
WHERE IS THE NEXT HOLORECORD?!?!??
awesome video
BioWare took the biggest L not making more of these videos for the new story expansions
Hylo survived,yaay
wait is this in reverse? ATC 0 would be after all of the BTC videos
The records are in the right order. Bioware simply decided to explain the current timeframe of the game's story first and then explore the context that lead to it in order of relevance.
Imagine this redone with A.I? 😮
Lance Henriksen is great, but they should have made himself sound more alien.
Does someone has a reverse order?
Is that Lance Henrickson?!
Yep
I failed as a fan and player for not knowing these existed til now. Shame shame shame....
good news, you get to enjoy them now :D they are over ten years old now!
