Its because of the "hospitality " of foreigners that has created this ocean panhandling. You see this on so many channels its a little mutch. These people chase these boats down because they know they are gonna get a ton of free stuff. Its one thing to help people in eminent danger. Its another to give away half yr supplies because you think if you give them stuff they wont rob you. Or because you dont realize they are just panhandling and give them half yr stuff like the last ten boats they chased down. Its like the signs that say dont feed the animals. Those signs are for a reason.

Could you please think of providing the lure with singes rather than treble hooks? Singles are more efficient, stronger, and much easier on the fish, especially when releasing.

The area is Scott Reef WA - Not illegal to fish in the Austrailian economic zone if the fishermen use traditional methods - including no motor, electronics etc. Visited the reef myself 6 times for liveabord charters. Very special part of the world and the fishing is awesome - we only take enough fish for our consumption on the boat and release everything else. The indo fishermen do quite a bit of damage - cut the meat out of giant clams, eat the sea snakes, apparently kill some of the turtles etc

sorry guys but putting your own survival at risk by giving away your supplies is not wise. tuna was ok but those pan handlers were experienced fishermen and did not need help. if they did they would have been sailing back. they were just trying to see what they could get to extend their trip and shorten yours. a bigger boat w a bigger crew begging from a smaller boat w only two people is not good sea etiquette in such an isolated spot in my opinion.

What a Banger. Super stoked for the win on the Doggie. The underwater giggling was brilliant. Your a big lad, and that was a solid fish to pose with. Epic mate. Just like the most recent episode of, 'The Blue Highway', you could not have written this 'Outrageous' adventure any better. If you tried. From unknown flashing lights on a sand bar in the middle of the ocean, off the back of ambitious sea crossing to literally nowhere, to it concluding with a response to distress on the high seas via a charitable Catch & Cook and supply sharing.
AWESOME EDIT. It was Sincere. If your intentions had been otherwise, I'm sure the Doggie would never have shown and the sharks would not have left you alone to giggle and regress into innocence. Beautiful win and a slam dunk for the bucket list. Really good stuff and worthy viewing. May the Blessings of your charity enrich your adventure further and extend far beyond the free range Tuna Steak reward at the end of the dive.
Bear Grylls can keep drinking piss out of snakes skin in the desert all he likes, and in my humble opinion the Aussie Irwin legacy has nothing on your future potential, and the overall Channel going forward. Hoping y'all get the upgrades you seek (a la La Vagabonde and YBS) Living vicariously through the channels adventures. You both show the embodiment of the Human Spirit when One GETS BACK TO BASICS. Thank You. Epic. Stay Legends. Well done. ONE ❤

Be careful where you direct your kindness.... not every call of distress should be answered. They knew what they were doing. I have witnessed and experienced these shenanigans many times before in different countries (land and sea). Don't open your food storage in front of hustlers (it's like opening your wallet in front of a professional beggar)... that's why they kept asking for more and intrusively scanned all the contents in your boat. They don't understand (or care) how many days you have left. A hungry humble person would be happy with a smallest thing you give and not ask for more.

I woke up in the middle of the night frightened by this video. The way they handed over the tuna (only to a small one person boat) spoke volumes about the mistrust. Please take care. Those humans are more dangerous than any shark or crocodile. Especially since they like your island to cook up sea turtles.

Hello from Russia. There are many channels about sea adventures, but your channel is the best. Very interesting shooting. Sea expanses, life on a small boat, cooking. Especially super exciting underwater shooting. Mahi-Mahi was released into the ocean. They gave poor and hungry Indonesian fishermen food and water, although they themselves have little. And a huge tuna was presented for food. Your wife is very beautiful and swims well, not everyone is like that. Most of them in worn-out slippers are standing in the kitchen in aprons, curlers on their heads and shouting at their husbands, who are sitting on the couch, reading a newspaper and sucking beer from a can or bottle and have never seen the sea or the ocean and do not know how beautiful the underwater world is...Poor and worthless people...But I'm exaggerating. Good luck to you, good new adventures and peace over your head.

Have you tried the method of placing a piece of plastic over a hole in the sand, then you place a cup in the middle of the hole and a stone above the cup on the plastic to help you gather condensate water? Might help stretch your reserves slightly? And be careful out there.

I feel like there should be signs that say dont feed the locals. It seems like marine panhandling t oi me. I see so many people just start throwing everything into these peoples boats. Its no surprise that every ti.e a foriegn boat goes by, they chase it down to see how much free food, water, clothes and what ever else they can get . I find it hard to believe a boat with 8 people doesn't have any food. Especially seeing that more than likely they were collecting sea cucumber for the comercial market.
