What would life be without Fran sporting the loveliest of tans? And that impossibly beautiful smile. The camera loves her and so do we. Life is not a dress rehearsal, so I'm glad to see you both spending your youth so very wisely.
@Richard Thornhill.... You are so funny. If she was fat and ugly, would say the same thing about the footage? I know for a fact, most guys my age (mid 30s) only come here because she is a hot body with a pretty face.
Damn, straight mate! I think I found an odd comment about wanting fat chicks - that are fat and clueless. Fran is none of this, so... Fran is the turtle whisperer and seal tamer! They know the language of the sea!
I so love seeing you two together. It is a wonderful thing in a world of screwed up toxicity. May you two grow really old together and stay ever joyful. Blessings.
thanks for picking up trash on the Beach. makes me feel good that there are people like you out there on the reefs. Hope you have more episodes....I look forward to them every week.
Sometimes large waste companies are even guilty of dumping in the ocean. It's great to see people taking time to clean up a very large mess. Good for you guys!
Watching the two of you on these adventures is great. We should all be aware how simple things like an old tooth brush, plastic water bottle or plastic bag can degrade a beautiful and vital sand cay. God bless you both.
Hey guys, this is the last you will see of the 'Salty Dingo' in all her glory for a while... Things go horribly wrong next week. If you've missed an Episode, you can catch up here: ruclips.net/p/PLtJHZztIhg_ypA7ygXzAtz0Fhoh-H2tvm
So glad that you two are picking up whatever trash and plastics you can while on the sand cay! It's a rule with us whether camping or hunting that we leave the place as we found it, or better if there is trash we can pack out with us. I'm sorry your adventure is being cut short, but by the look of the Salty Dingo it's questionable that she'll make it back in one piece being towed. If that big boat has a crane and room on a deck for the poor girl I suggest she sit perched on the deck for the ride home. I hope you guys enjoyed your adventures out on that sand cay as much as I enjoyed watching the episodes you created! I'm glad you are both headed back to safety but will not enjoy the Strick & Frannie withdrawals that will soon be coming. I hope the Salty Dingo is repairable but if I may suggest, if it is going to be too expensive to fix you might look at an aluminium boat with a reinforced keel for beaching, that or a poly boat. For Aluminum boats I was thinking of a Blackdog Cat 680 enclosed, or 670 weekender, or a Stabicraft 1850 or so. I know it's a big switch but if there are more adventures to come (and I very much hope that there are) a boat like that could be paid for by sponsors fairly easily and provide you with a decent boat with the advantage of sleeping protection in a dicey situation. Just some thoughts Mate. As always my best to both You and Fran and thank you for the postcard which arrived last Christmas (Canada post needs some updating lol) Take care - Dave.
@@thomasgraham5842 I'm not understanding you, I don't know if they get seeds on the sand cay or if they would grow? Perhaps Coconuts but that's all I can think of. Or, are you referring to when we go out camping or hunting where I live? Where we go there are loads of trees, it's a gorgeous area with two large willow swamps and a mall creek that has drinkable water that bubbles up from a gravel bar. I've gone out in Springtime to pick Morel Mushrooms and scout for sheds, it's a stunning area. Contrary to what most non hunters think we don't go blowing the heads off critters just for fun. We (Speaking for our 3 person group) hunt with bows by choice. Typically we'll target one Bull and one Cow Moose and those two animals feed three families and likely more as we are giving away cuts for people who are curious to try for a year. We have two major groups with about 30-40 Moose in a 10 mile square area(possibly many more, it's hard to find them to count). Hunting pressure is light and the animals we take actually benefit the Moose numbers as we generally focus on older animals past their prime, this gives the younger Bulls a chance to breed and form family groups rather than being run off by an old Bull. Taking an older Cow also benefits the area as the younger females will be bred first instead of midway or last through the rut. Hunters are Conservationists.
So glad to see someone making these type of videos actually pick up garbage and actually talk about it!! Great on you guys and subbed! What a beautiful location!

After just having spent some time myself on a small deserted island off the tip of Cape York I can relate to the plastic rubbish problem. On a beach no more than 100 metres long there was literally truck loads of rubbish washed up. The poor turtles had a mine field of plastic they had to negotiate to try and lay their eggs. Closer inspection of the labels on the rubbish showed that most of it was coming from Indonesia. Total disgrace on humanity that we can do this.
Greetings from Malaysia. Im a new subscriber, stumbled on 1 of your video, watched it once.. Then immediately hit the subscribe button.. Loved the intro, the surfing, and that Cuda - what a bit of work! At least it wasn't sailfish converted to Shark LOL! That Skirt for us usually converts into Tuna! Pretty unlucky lol! I would have got the red and white out! Old Morris the lure is always a sure bet! Wow plastic, :(. The turtles dead, interesting story line, Az and crew are also going out with traditional hunters. I would suggest culture and necessity probably drive different view points. I spent some time up in Indo with boat faring folks. The first thing that stunned me was the entire crew could not swim. I discovered this by accident when I leapt off our charter boat and swum to shore for a walk. The poor crew thought I was going to drown. When I asked them about being on a boat and not swimming, they explained to me the boat never sinks because of the wood. All they have to do if it flips or capsizes is hang onto the boat and climb out out of the water. Great footage, loved the cook up, meal to die for, sorry you have only a day left, thanks for sharing the fun, hope the Salty Dingo makes it home to be repaired! Dive safe! 🐟💖👍👌

Happy to hear you folks are going home to shed tears about Salty Dingo damage/if repairable by the time it gets back from the return beating.
You both get along so well and to rough it on a small sand bar with no shade for so long is truly a feat in itself. Great adventure!!
Brava Fran always cooking with olive oil 😜👍💪🥰

Oliver says so too 🙂🙂 she's just real easy to look at no matter what she's doing or what she's wearing.
This episode has been kind of like a Robinson Crusoe event. Happy to see you both stay safe. Keep on adventuring!
You and Fran are such a great team, love watching your adventures.
