Kerry that looks delicious and I will be trying it myself. You are an inspiration to many and I love how you look after you neighbour . God Bless you abundantly ❤
This has been a revelation to me as i made some cakes and they were soggy in the middle, but approaching incineration on the outside, and i just didn't know what to do about it. Thank you for giving me the solutions. Love your channel and the Lemon drizzle was fantastic. I have tried several of your dishes and all worked out well. As a novice cook, it has bolstered my confidence considerably.
Hi Kerry just made the Bara Brith… delicious… thanks for showing us. Love your channel you’re so easy to relate to with “normal stuff” 😀hope the channel grows & grows just like the allotment! 😀
Yayyyy!!!! 10,000 subscribers..well done Kerry..much love.xxxx By the by..arent folks strange..you have 1600 views n only 240 odd likes!! Come on folks..just take a second to poke the like button!!!!!
Hi Kerry, I’m from South Wales and the 2 Bara Brith look perfect, yes a little too low on the temperature, I cook mine at 145 degrees. It’s the soaking the fruit in the tea that does it. Yours looked amazing. Cariad Da iawn (well done love) xxx
Baked the Bara Brith in my Cosori today and they turned out really lovely. I cooked them at 150c for 30 minutes and they worked out great. Thanks again for the lovely recipe
Hi, great recipe for the Barra broth, I'm definitely going to make it. I'm not sure if you know. I have a corsori exactly the same as you. When I'm cooking in it I never use the grid inside. That's because it stops the bottom element working properly the cake won't burn i f you put the cake tin directly on the bottom. It won't leave your fork wet when you're testing it. Hope this helps xxxx
Hi Helena, thank you for that, it does help😃👍 I take out the crisper plate a lot esp when cooking savoury foods but that was first time baking a cake, will def take it out next time. Love the element at the bottom, game changer in AF ability imo 😃👍💕
I made today & it’s gorgeous, especially liberally spread with butter! My mixture was a little stiffer than yours but it worked & was cooked in 25 mins (Bake at 150°). I used a Tesco mixed fruit which also has apricots & cranberries. I’ve just posted pictures and the recipe on a couple of airfryer FB groups, crediting you for the recipe.
Love your channels we are Billy , Jean and Border Collie Bru from Ayrshire in the south west of Scotland. We grow our own in our small greenhouse tomatoes 🍅 cucumbers 🥒 peppers 🫑 and chilli 🌶️ and grow vegetables in a cold frame and buckets and bags. We love when you cook in your air fryer we have a Cosori Dual blaze like the one you have and the Ultenic dual drawer one . We love your channel it is quite apt for our lifestyle and we like to eat cheaply but reasonably well and healthy if we can . So good luck with your channels on RUclips.
Aw thank you v much Billy, Jean and Bru! (Is that short for irn bru?)👋😃🏴💕That's so lovely, love the sound of your greenhouse at home with all your own homegrown produce. My brother lives in Ayr and my uncle/aunt/cousins live in Troon and I spent many summer holidays at my dads in Irvine in the 80s, he moved back to Glasgow in the 90s😄 know Aryshire quite well! Family go back 100s of years there, glasgow and further north. Proud half Scot lol
@@budgetcookinguk yeah after Irn Bru . We knew someone from our local pub had a dog named after the drink a few years back and we like it very much we decided to call our latest dog Bru lol . Yeah we live in north of Ayrshire Dalry over the hill from Saltcoats and Largs.
@@williamlong7188 yup Dalry is one of my ancestors locations lol, my dad used to take me and my brother to saltcoats every summer, like his mum n dad before him. Loved the castle and the beach 😄🏴💕
Hi Kerry, it looks delicious, i could just eat a slice. Also it was so easy to make. I think you needed a bit higher temperature. I made a nice tea loaf a while ago. This one was light in colour, i got it from the wee larder if you wanted to make it yourself
Hello Kerry , I make a Yorkshire tea bread which is more or less the same recipe, lovely with butter on . I therefore guess this was just as tasty. I would have cooked 150 min. Forv30 mins to 45.
Because the Cosori is a dual blaze , I would remove the crisp tray and place in the bottom. I think that way it would cook quicker, getting more heat from the bottom element and maybe a slightly higher temperature . Looks lovely I think I’ll give it a go 😊
Think you're right Susan👍💕, plus temp was too low, should've been at 150 or 160c - will try that next time👍. The tea bread I tried ages ago on the lower temps worked as it had a third less fruit😄
Hi Kerry, I've made this in the oven but not tried it in the air fryer yet. I loved it's so easy to make and it just gets better, if you have any to last a few days😜 Hope Valerie loved hers too. I think possibly a higher temperature, but it is a bit and miss but can't wait to try it😁 See you on the other side, byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
Evening Kerry, awwww, this is not for me as I don't like fruit in bread/cakes, but I always remember my Gran making fruit loaves to sell at her coffee mornings. I tend to find cakes with fruit or chocolate chips in I can't get right at all in the air fryers, but I could in the oven. These bloody air fryers are sent to try us, haha. Thank you for faffing about with these, though, so that others don't have too. Glad you enjoyed it and Valarie did also. See you later on the other side xxxxx Jac 💚♥️
Hi Kerry, that looks delicious. Will definitely give it a go. You inspired me with the dehydrating of the sage. I did sage, thyme & mint at the weekend, there is always too much use fresh. Really pleased with the result. Love watching your vlogs here and Plot 25+1. Congratulations on the 10k x
Good morning , I Hope someone can help me. I made this loaf yesterday. I cooked them in my cosori oven style air fryer on 150. One cooked in 30mins but the other one just wouldn't cook in the middle. I put temperature up to one sixty .i tried everthing you did kerry. I gave up after 40 minutes as it was late. I left it on a cooling tray till this morning and it was still wet in the middle. Could it be the odd cake tins I used. The One that wouldn't cook was narrower but taller then the that cooked. The one that did cook was absolutely lovely. Thanks for the recipes kerry. You are my favourite.
Hi Kerry, I must try this. Can I just say you omitted in the written recipe to say the egg was added to the fruit mix before you sifted the flour in. x
Hi darling, I made 2 x 1 lb fruit breads. But I did them in the oven as I’d already had it on as I’d made 2x large Bakewell tarts. They took 25-30 mins on 180c and are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the recipe. I’ll be making them a lot . Love Lisa xxx❤
Had a go at doing this with my fruit What I brought last year was to do a Christmas cake which I never did. Didn't have any mixed spice so I tried cinnamon. Just hope it turns out OK?
Ooo Jennifer, I'm buying directly from the merch store Teemill today! Will have it be sent directly to you (was waiting for funds!😊) just ordered and it should be with you between 12th and 19th😃👍💕

I’m afraid too much faffing around there, have a look at the Bara Brith in the HYSapientia air fryer oven with the Backyard Chef, brilliant recipe and it comes out perfect every time.

For future reference "brith" rhymes with with "teeth" - even some Welsh people get that wrong, so don't worry too much. Whatever, both versions looked delicious... I'll give it a try in ye olde Cosori :)
I love your honesty and persistence to get the temps and timing right .I will definitely try this!.
