Great video guy. I just got my 11th Gen kindle today. I used before the 5th gen. It has huge improvement compare with my 5th Gen. But, it is a bit heavy, and have a reflective glass screen. And I still miss the page turner button, which is good when I am reading by single hand.
Congratulations, you'll get used to not using the page turner button. The glass screen is good as it ensures there's less glare from the sun or light bulbs.
You will soon get the hang of swiping one handed with your thumb, Kyaw. I've got a non-Amazon cover for my Kindle. It has an elastic attached so that I can fold the cover back and put my hand into elastic. If you are under 21 you will also be able to do this while riding a bicycle and if you are under 18 you will be able to perform wheelies at the same time

Thanks for this. I hadn't noticed the Show Clock While Reading Option or the themes. Syncing Collections are my biggest problem with the latest Kindle software. I used them alot (I have over 1000 books). They didn't appear on my new Kindle and I had to get them by using the Search button, clicking on the Show All button and clicking the 3dot menu next to them to Download to Device. However, new collections which I make on my Android phone don't appear on my Kindle. I've done the usual reboots and syncs. And some books which were in a collection appear outside the collection in Sort By Collection view.

I wish it were possible to "lock" the progress in the book feature.
I'd prefer to be able to only see the percentage, which was locked, by default, on my trusty old 4th Gen Kindle! It lasted 11 years and sold, very quickly on eBay!
It seems a bit bizarre that you can "set" it, but accidentally keep changing it, while reading.
One tip I've discovered; you don't need to tap/swipe the screen on the far right, in order to advance the pages.
Almost anywhere, just to the right/centre of the screen will do the trick.
Handy for us left handed people! 😉📚

Great video! I use the kindle for studying so HIGHLIGHTS man... Is there a way of make them permanent in a book? Like been able to pass it to the PC/another kindle and manteining the information, i can't find anything about that...
In All Settings go to Device Options, Advanced Options and Enable Whispersync. Whenever you connect to WiFi next time, press Sync and your notes, highlights and bookmarks will appear in that book on whichever device you are using.

Thanks!!! I'm aware that you can transfer all your highlights to a pdf, then I would keep copy and pasting your highlights on the the same document. So then I have a file full of notes and highlights!
@@fennarios it works for your own documents too. I use my Kindle alot for storing long Word documents like my recipe book. The way I put my documents onto my Kindle is to Bluetooth the doc to my phone. I've installed the Kindle app on my phone so when I long press on the document in the phone's File Manager, I choose the Send To icon then choose the Kindle app. It then gives you the option to send it to any of your registered devices. Ensure you tick one device AND Archive In your Kindle Library. Your notes and bookmarks will then appear on any device you send it to
@@evelynwoolston7 evelyn thank you so much for your time! i think i kind of understand that yo go pc->phone->kindle app-> kindle device, but what if i already have a book highlighted on the kindle device and want to transfer it to another kindle, for example i read a book and then want to give it to a friend but with all the important stuff highlighted, or just want to save that book in case something happens to the device! there has to be a way right? ha, this is making me feel dumb!
Just got my new Kindle Paperwhite 11th gen but I’m finding it hard to share anything on Goodreads. Looks like there is a known bug with Goodreads integration since past 1yr where notes/share items are not visible on Goodreads website. Am I missing something ?

Can you remove the "recommended for you" section from the home screen?
Go to your Kindle’s home page.
Click on the three dots to the top right of your screen (just below the clock)
Click on “Settings.”
Choose “Device Options.”
Click on “Advanced Options.”
Choose “Home & Library.”
Click on the button to turn off “Home Screen View.”
Is there a setting where you can ‘tap to open’ the screen instead of clicking the power button every time you want to open the Kindle? 😅

@Aide Valenciano I just bought my mom a 11 gen and a flipcase from kindle and it has magnets to close and to hold it to the back once it’s open but it turns on when open and turns off when closed

That would be very useful, I'm sure it's easy to implement as the kindle fire has one. Hopefully there will be a future update adding it.
Hello, i have the same kindle but i don't understand why my kindle doesn't show the Bluetooth button.

Faster? Responsive? I have the latest Kindle Fire and it can't handle simple sites like TikTok, accuweather, etc. Constantly reloads, drops the website. Audio not matching the video.... When the Kindle finally zeros in on everything it works for about a half hour before stalling out. I have to reboot to wipe the cache. It's really a pain and it has gotten worse over the past year.
I wouldn't use the kindle to browse than internet other than using it to browse for new books. It will struggle with watching videos on it.
