I loved this! The Xenoblade OST made me start loving VGM back when I first played the game. I gotta mention that your piano arrangements have been a huge inspiration for me lately. I started to go to piano lessons in the beginning of this year, in hopes of being able to make piano arrangements of VGM someday, and everytime I listen to one of your arrangements I feel inspired to practice and learn more so I can someday make arrangements too :)
One of my friends is streaming the Definitive Edition, and I’m watching them play it. So far, we’re about halfway through the game, and I’m really liking it so far! I can certainly understand why this series is so popular! Oh, and nice job by the way, this was well done!
Some people forget about this piece and how it played a role in one of the most integral parts of the story for this game, and what a pivotal changing moment it was for Melia's character. What I especially love about this piece is that it plays again, with her but this time with her new attitude and "vision" on life. You can really see how much her character has grown over the game. I really love this cover and feel as if its Melia's theme. Great work, I'd love to see more Xenoblade from you😆

I never got to around playing Xenoblade but the music is really soothing. Absolutely loved the hint of Pat Metheny near the climax! Lyle Mays always appears in my head when I hear Letter from Home. Can’t wait to hear more.

HAHAHA OHHH that is completely justified FF7R owned my soul for two weeks, it was SO GOOD, literally felt like the game Square wanted to make in 1996 but lacked the tech. Everything i hoped for and so much more omg. XCDE is fantastic, so many great updates, the epilogue is cute and fun and of course the music

I think it probably is the definitive song - there's a lot of action, sure, but the pain the story addresses echoes through everything. I'm glad your piece captures the haunting bittersweetness of the original, and I'm so glad that the remake has revived interest in this game.
Once again, an amazing job from you purpleschala! This beautiful arrangement was the thing that finally convinced myself to get this game. So excited to play it! I have a question though, how long is the game including the future connected epilogue?
AHHH EXCELLENT i'm so happy to hear that!!!!! you will love it! the gameplay can be a bit tricky and the tutorials are text heavy but stick with it, it is worth it!!! and there's always easy mode! i'd say on normal mode without doing any of the sidequests it's about 60-70 hours, adding the sidequests will be easily 150 hours, maybe more if memory serves. on easy mode i hear it's about 50, but of course that varies with play style. epilogue took me 20 hours for about 98% completion of all side quests and bosses.

Also, I'm tempted to replay Xenoblade again too, but I'm actually thinking of returning to X again as I miss that game. Future Connected was such a sweet epilogue, even though the Fog King was unexplained. I love how they developed Tyrea and Melia's relationship.

@@purpleschala No consoles of any kind since the PS1. I only game on my PC. Oh, I guess I play some time-waster games on my 5+ year old Samsung tablet from time to time but I don't really count that. I considered getting a Switch, but do I really need to spend $300 plus $$$ for the games for a device I'm not going to use that often? Nah.
