I was so lucky to be chosen by the Superdrug community to try the New Eylure Pre Glued Underlash Extreme Salon Curl Clusters 12mm in exchange for my honest review.
I recently used the the New Eylure Pre Glued Underlash Salon Curl Clusters so I kinda had an idea on how to apply these.
They come in a pack of 30 pre glued lashes & it states that there is up to 5 applications in each pack. So that's 2 of each size per application. Meaning you only need 3 per eye 👁️ I expected there to be some sort of instructions on how to apply on the box but there wasn't. I used my fingers like I did the last time, Please don't judge but I just used the method I felt comfortable with.
These lashes are designed to go under your natural lashes again very new to me as I usually use the glue & apply individual lashes above the lash. There is an eyelash tweezer included in the pack for you to use to apply the lashes if you find this method easier. How I applied;
✨Firstly I made sure that my eye lashes were clean, plus I didn't apply any mascara to them. (I did have on eye makeup but nothing on my lashes)
✨I then started off with the small cluster first for the inside of my eye. Just like what I would normally do with other lashes. I used the tweezers to remove from the pack. ⚠️be careful when doing this as you could easily break the lash as the glue sticks to the pack.
✨I then used my fingers to apply the lashes pressing down on them once placed where I wanted them
✨Once I applied the short lash I applied a medium. I found that because these are so extreme curled, I feel like the cluster are longer I only needed 2. short & medium as when trying to apply the long it peeled the rest off & was slight over hang on the end.
Overall these wouldn't be my go to lash as they feel very heavy on the eye because they are very extreme volume.
They do give a glamours salon finished look if you are looking for that extreme night look but for me I do prefer a more natural looking lash suitable for day and night. I feel like they are more suited for going out on the town. I would have preferred more shorter lashes to blend them in better. As I found because I was only limited with 1 per eye to get full 5 uses out of the pack I would be at a loss.
These don't look as natural as when applied you can see that they are way too long when adding the longest length on. They came off really easy after hours of wear not causing any damage or lash loss another pro to the pre-glued lashes as I find other lashes seem to take off your natural lashes with them. Wear time really impressed me with these! I wore them for around 24hrs I was careful when removing make up and even used my sleep mask and they was still on in the afternoon the next day!
⚠️Obviously just a warning for those whom may suffer with sensitivity that the glue may cause irritation I personally didn't face any issues but I know my daughter can't wear lashes for this reason.
I may repurchase in future if going out for the night

Was the sensitivity for the moment of application or did it go on during use? And how did you remove them?

I didn’t have any sensitivity with these just didn’t like the tool to apply as the lashes just kept sticking to it.
I removed by just slowly peeling off, you are able to reuse one more time but personally I didn’t do this I just apply a new set
