I can for sure say that the 78 to 80 doors are different from the 81 to 87 event though they look similar. As far as hood, fenders and header panels go I believe that’s the same too. So to sum it up you would need parts from a 78 to 80 front end as I don’t think the 81 to 87 parts would work. As far as fab work if you find the correct year car it should be as simple as unbolting and rebottling whatever you need.

And in Ohio i seen a 54k miles 85 Oldsmobile 307 motor and transmission both are supposed to work good..
