Haha he's sweating! They were all completely out of it here and for this whole tour (known as the cocaine tour). This is one of their most famous gigs. Be Here Now, All Around The World and Don't Go Away are all incredible from this gig!

You ever been the G-Mex? It's an old railway terminal, it's not meant for gig's, it's hot as fuckin hell in there when full.
I was a latecomer to this band back in the day, mainly because I didn't have a great deal of use for britpop when I was balls deep in 90s death metal. However I love bands like the Beatles in the stones and T-Rex and all the British Invasion bands at this band flagrantly steals from. Here's the thing... I can't help but love these songs. This riff is basically T-Rexes 20th century boy note-for-note same with a Tempo. It worked in 1972 and it's going to work here. I kind of hate how much of a sucker I am for it knowing how flagrantly this stuff is affected but the art of Genius musicality is knowing to steal good stuff. And Noel Gallagher just knew what was awesome. He repurposed it into his own voice and style and Oasis is badass.

Oasis a Manchester band formed shortly after the "Madchester " music revolution when Manchester dominated the indie scenes.
You guys need to check out The Stone roses ,the Inspiral carpets, Happy Mondays,Charlatans just a few of the Manchester bands of that period ( although I spiral carpets are technically from Oldham) just outside the great city of Manchester.
And check out the movie 24HOUR PARTY PEOPLE...

Been to see Oasis twice… Can’t actually remember the band, because the total delirium in the crowd just took you away to another dimension. Well, that and the alcohol and drugs 😂
bass players called guigsy..he's a lovely guy..kinda quiet lad but the band members loved him...if you watch some of the oasis docu. rocku- mentaries..they will tell you in their own words. Sit down one night or 3, and binge out on knebworth and supersonic...guigsy's sister also made one,,i need to watch it again as i cant remember it ( no clues or i will spoil it for you guys)

@@charliegeorge9393 nah, Britpop is just a label created by the industry for marketing. Created "the next big "genre"". The bands never wanted to and never called themselves Britpop. It doesn't describe a sound really, the bands are quite diverse in style. Kinda like grunge.
