The other version of Hush is from the Shades of deep purple album and it had Rod Evans on lead vocals, this version has Gillian. So if you haven't already, check out the other version too....it is one of the best early Purple songs.

They put it on the Live Album because they came in the Studio after being at the bar all night. They did it in one take off the Cuff. Shows Deep Purple Mark ll could record albums in a short time. There may have been one band with the talent of Mark ll but not one more talented and improv differently every night like Deep Purple. That other band was the second lineup of Rainbow.
