Eminem knew damn well Snoop couldn't rap that fast 😂
Sneaky 👌👌
I said the same thing. Perfect for em tho.
@@jORDYTHEMAN1 snoop's not mumble rap.. his rap is like a chill vibe... I like both snoop's and shady's rap..
@Charles Jackson you wore yours out ?
Exactly Em knew what he was doing lol
“I was upstairs, listening to my Will Smith CD”, that part in the video kills me 😂😂😂
Favorite part...only reason i actually listen to the music video version
That whole scene they mad in the music video is GOLD. I was listening to my Will Smith CD, and I seen all these flames going everywhere, know what Im sayin? hold on BITCH"
Love every time Eminem disses a rapper or artist, he acts like he loves, and listens to their songs hahaha
You should listen to the family guy cover of Forgot about DRE 😁
Detroit what??
I love that Eminem tho 😂😂 too bad they had to go out the way they did 😂😂😂
And snoop saying em ain’t in his top 10?!? That man writing ya lyrics big dog😂😂
🤣
facts!
It’s not like that lmao snoop and Eminem are homies irl it’s just Snoop dogg was in the rap game for around 6 years before with Dre and he got to see a lot of older rappers
Charles Jackson the feds. Everybody put your hands up 🙌🏽
@Charles Jackson Its a matter of oppinion. There is nothing out there like a true top ten.
Its a matter of What listening for. What u want
Give Em his damn Flowers. He's lyrically blessed.
He really is.
Hit up drink champs asap
The disrespect he gets is mind boggling. Man gave us classics

Love Dre for the fact that he never hides if his verses were written by someone else (unlike many others)... He knows he is a GOAT producer and comfortable in his lane... Hence never hides when he raps on someone else's writing.
On a side note, Dre says he has no idea why Em wrote that song. But he knows why .. I'm a researcher and I often write stuff/papers for my supervisors to collaborate with me so that I can make them proud, when they read whatever I wrote. Em did the same... He just wanted to make his mentor proud
Facts
Just like Randy for Mr. Lahey
Back in the day you were shamed to death, if someone else wrote your lyrics. Dre did try to hide the fact other people wrote bunch of his shit...
In Dres defence, he doesn't write alot of his lyrics in general. Usually if someone wants to do a song with him, the person asking usually writes his part.
It was like that back in the day as well, Ice cube would write some of his stuff. Dre was mostly a making beats kind of person.
He has no reason to hide it. He's a producer by trade, not a rapper.
I can’t picture snoop on that hook to save my life
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 TRUTHSERUM
It would be a much slower paced song
666th like. 😃
yo.... it would have been cool to hear Snoop rap "Slim Shady.... hotter than a set of twin babies...", though...
(i actually just forreal pictured that happening, and i can see that exact line, in Snoops style being "S-L-I- to the -M, Shady, baby, and im hotter than some twins...")
😆 me neither
The older you get, the more stuff gets revealed from your 90s teenage years.
Yup! But I knew this in the 90’s well 99-00 when it came out I was 18+ when this album dropped
The video is hilarious when he's in the back going "Detroit what?! Detroit what?!" 😂😂
"Hold on a minute bitch" 😂😂😂😂
I was just listening to my will Smith CD 😂😂😂
@@dv251966 that's the bit that get me every time, and the bunny ears lol
@@candice9169 hahaha 🤣
Damn right 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of the best tracks ever made! Still in my top 3 til this day
Right next to Still D.R.E
pretty much contender for best track, the song might even be lowkey underrated.
Facts
🤣🤣🤣🤣 top 3
Perfection
I still bump this song almost every day.
It's on my driving to work playlist.
Oh my god, same!
Same
To this day 💯
Great song💯
Damn. You too?😂
Em killed that joint ... thank God snoop didn't ruin that shit
😂😂😂
Lol
Word 🙌
It would jus be a whole verse of snoop tellin us what his name is 😂😂
Snoop would of found away to make it work maybe not as good as em but still would of worked
Eminem is the goat for that. People were starting to forget about Dre and I don’t even think dre realized but em wrote this song and brought it to him to let everyone know dre still here doing his thing. Classic
I love that full Album but that track is one of the best off the album.
Master piece
"hopping out with two broken legs tryna walk it off"😬😬
Em is a lyrical mastermind
Forget about Dre song is still 🔥 no matter how many times you listen you'll never get bored .
Eminem and Dre are very good examples of what brotherly respect looks like
We love a good brotherhood.
I would laugh if I heard Snoop say those lyrics. Glad Dre kept Em on da hook
Would be interesting to hear a remix though so we all could hear what the “original” would’ve sounded like
@@druryjoe1you going to be regretting it 😂
Eminem came from a place of having nearly nobody by his side besides the big ugly bastards named pain and suffering, I know for a fact he appreciated what his early music industry friends like Dre did for him more than most could ever imagine because most have never been so hopeless. That song in my opinion was a thank you for Dre being so good to Em when he needed it💯
"he just came with some lyrics, and we wrote some music" like just how casual he was about making one of hip hops top bops to listen to. "Yeah we just randomly made a multi million dollar winning song...just kind of cause
Crazy that Dre didn’t know what triggered Eminem to write the song. I thought it was planned out and it was a methodical part of the story/album. It was so fitting because Dre had been on a long hiatus and when he came back with this album, it made sense and it just made it that much better. Eminem is a true artist.
The second verse from Dre on this track is the best Em has ever written for him
I’m not even a rap fan, but that super bowl performance was one of the best half time shows!
Eminem is one of those people / artists that has to have the freedom to express himself into the fullest degree. Without hesitation or interference. A true visionary.
I Love that Song, He was one of the greatest Hit for me
Always going to be one of the dopest tracks
One of the best albums of all time
This song made me practice my english real hard... Because i wanted 2 understand... And once i did it was a revelation... Thank you🏅🏁
“So what do you say to somebody you hate?”
WHAAAAT...
whaaat??
Or anybody trying to bring trouble your way

This is one of the best songs ever!! Still can rap it to! It's genius!
That song was so ahead of its time that it will always be remembered as a classic 💯
That song and What’s the Difference from 2001 are my favorite Dre and Em collabs.
It’s one of my favourite rap songs, I knew it all when I was 13. The beat still holds to this day, some of that older rap the beats while good, don’t still hit hard like Dre’s music.
I do love how in every song Em shows how much he thanks Dre for his career by basically doing a shout out. Always thank the ones that helped you along the way
One of my favourite songs right there lol
Everytime Dre talks bout em. Hahaha. He's just like wtf is he up tooo. Like baffled. M is like his cray cray son
Lol
This song brings back some amazing memories. Gives me goosebumps……
👌🏽✊🏼🙏🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
These are the good days! I grew up to Eminem! Forever a fan 🙌🏼
Who new that song would be sang at the super bowl
they did it for the transition
that transition is dummy🔥🔥🔥
I love how he can admit to not doing every line himself
And the rest is history
I remember when Dre and Em done this song live before the album even dropped. I was blazed with a homie and thought atm that that was one of the most gangsta shit I had seen on TV ever
This is one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time. Ever since the 1st time hearing it as a kid it hits
Em is fucking GOAT
Shiiiittt, I really wanna hear the Snoop and Dre version now, that verse and the connotation totally would match snoop. Fuckin McCartney/Lennon of rap man, those two were nuclear.
You're joking right? How would any of it match Snoop, especially that fast-paced hook? The Dogg is way too stoned to ever keep up with that
To this day this is my favorite song by eminem
My favourite rap song EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
The lyrics are so awesome. 🔥
Absolute classic
Best dission evah
You know Em always makes Dre feel good 😁
1 of my fav tunes of all time. I remember when it come out. Me and my best mate rapping alone. Love Dre
Damn so now your telling me the goat is a ghost writer. 👻🐐#GHOSTGOAT
Eminem just wanted the world to remember who the OG of the west coast sound is and as much as I cant stand eminems music he got my props for that
This song honestly is perfection the way it is. And Em’s hook is just legendary. Dre’s bar are 🔥🔥
One of the absolute BEST albums ever!!! Not just cause of this track, but the whole entire thing is as great as this one song was!!!
Snoop can't even write his own .....ha
Hé can with a ton of weed
Dr. Dre, N.W.A changed the game forever, and now Dre is exactly where he's supposed to be. 👑🎤🎧🎚️🎛️🎹
Em was just showing how he appreciates you ❤️❤️❤️
This song slaps so Hard 🔥
Superbowl is comming...
So that’s why snoop hates em
this fucking album is so iconic, i was born in 2001 and it means a lot
These shorts on hip hop history is bloody awesome!
What is this from? I keep seeing clips and I'd like to see the whole movie or whatever this is.
Apple Music, 2001: The Making of A Classic
Does this mean Em wrote the parts where Dre say nigga??🤔
Bro. You're stretching 😆🤣 chill
Caught in 4K eminem 🤔📸
You think Eminem never says nigga come the fuck on
@@jamesfair9751 bet he doesn't...writing may be a different story
Lol...yes
Legendary Brothers
1 of my favourite beats of all time
We need tue snoop version of this song
Woulda been ass with snoop.
One of the greatest songs ever made
Still my all time favourite song. 2001 is a top tier album
Reference vocals? In A suggestive manner? Bro….Eminem was ghostwriting for snoop dogg too? We all knew he wrote Dre’s shit especially early on. Now, doesn’t mean Eminem wrote anything for snoop just that he was suggesting what it should sound like on beat relating to the TIMING or syllable count specifically, but it’s soooo ODD for me to hear any of the BIGGEST rappers damn near in their prime getting REFERENCES to how they should RAP when what they are SUCCESSFUL for is RAPPING O.o I’ll never understand it no matter how lightly anyone puts it.
Still Dre was written by Jay-Z. He wrote for Dre and Snoop. When that song first drop I thought it was their song 100% cuz it sounded West Coast but years later we found out that wasn't the truth. Props to Jay for that and I'm not even a big Jay-Z fan
I love hearing stories like this
When you say something is "a head of its time" This song is a prime example of that. The beat hits HARD AF for 90s 00s 2010s, 2020s, and will in 2050. No matter what generation, or party you're at, you play this song and it fucking HITS!!!. Absolute banger, I always knew the song word for word, and still have to rap the chorus every time.
I never knew Dre had a different voice when he’s rapping
i love dre hes done so much for music he like one of the only producers ever to have like 10 + hits in the the charts all at the same time what a beast
When dat song dropped dat was ma JAM!!!
THE VIDEO is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!
Thes3 2 are National Treasure!! Love ya"ll much.
the best rhyme ever
You always been a real one dre 🤞🏼💯
That Superbowl performance was dope
The best song because even after 20years I can’t repeat Eminem part
I liked the way it sounded lmao Dre , that’s one of the greatest songs ever
Amazing song!!!
I know every word to Dre’s 2001 Chronic album.
One of my best friends from high school, Mickey, passed away 2 years ago, at 38, and we used to listen to this album everyday.
RIP HUN! You’ll always be the best ❤
What I wouldn’t give for one more day with you.
he knew dreams would love this ...who wouldnt I still let my speakers blast this
Dre, Eminem and 50 The Dream Team!!!!!
As usual its another legendary song
I still play this weekly
That song changed the game single-handedly. This is when the suburbs turned like the inner city.
Eminem is a supreme rapper there's nobody better hasn't been for years
This is one of my favorite songs of his.
That cadence is still hard! Brilliance.
This is nice song. Good job brother!
Love how he’s like “then the business came together .”
My favourite track in the Album...dadaaa
Dr. Dre, you r blessed!!! Please continue to use your success for good!! I love the way you've decided to put your growth in a respectable frame and not falling out of a limo disrespecting yourself and regular folks. Amen.
The SSLP and MMLP were my introduction to actual rap and I love them
I want to imagine Eminem getting nervous like “no I want you and SNOOP to do it not me teehee” and then just crushing it first try
Lol
