I feel like the worst part about the degree scene is that at this point in the series, Rigby has been getting better. He's been working really hard to improve himself. N his mistakes come back to haunt him in the worst way possible.
1:57 This one really hurt me. The episode did a great job of starting with a montage of Rigby helping Mordecai out by doing jobs alone so he could go on dates with CJ. And he did with without hesitation or complaint. But then when it comes down to it no one things he's useful or capable of literally changing a light bulb by himself. That's painful.
You know what? I can totally relate. It’s why I don’t feel motivated to do nice things for people as much anymore. Cause people usually forget by the next week or they attribute the work to someone else that they like more. I’m not doing it for a reward but damn, when it comes down to it, I’m treated like I’m nothing and nobody but I’m still the person people come to for help with things. 🫤 I get Rigby’s anger. It makes you feel worthless when people do that!
@@librty3036 "Lift With Your Back" is the sixth episode in Season 6; Feeling unappreciated, Rigby quits his job at the park and gets a job with a moving company.
Part 3 needs to have that scene with Benson telling Mordecai and Rigby that their actions have consequences. That scene, even as a kid, reminded me that we never really know what people go through
I don't think Margaret would've waited for him tho. Half the appeal of college is still being in a structured environment with people of similar age and interests but now you're an adult so you can make friends and date more freely.
Mordecai and/or Rigby cause around 80% of the show to happen the way it does. That’s the whole premise. I fail to see your point. Unless you’re just that much of a Mordecai hater that you’ll take any chance you can to badmouth him. At that point, just admit that you hate him, dude.
@@ThomatoSauce no I actually like his character but you have to be realistic about how he’s portrayed and how he doesn’t take responsibility for his actions and tries to act like he’s superior
Okay, but those are his general characteristics from that point in the show, not any specific episode. Even then, I’m pretty sure he promised to catch the real counterfeiter in the episode. How is that not taking responsibility? (And yeah, while it was overall Pops’ fault for buying fake Amadeus Dollars, Mordecai was the one that got the Park Gang in trouble with the FBI in the first place.) Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the Capicola Gang want revenge on the entire Park Gang, and not just Mordecai? I mean, aside from Pops (for obvious reasons) the entire Park Gang was present and contributed to the Capicola Gang’s initial defeat (at least, before the FBI got involved).
@@sneakydeechey7210 Taking responsibility is kind of the whole point of the show. You act like Mordecai is some especially egregious example of it or that he's alone on that. He's not. They've been done equally dumb, shitty things to each-other and other people.
Both seem to be red flags but between the two, i'd choose CJ. red bird just making excuses. like telephones and mails doesn't exist for their relationship to keep going.
2:36 i could never understand how margaret going to her dream school was get in the way of their relationship. like hello? haven't they heard of long distance? they couldve atleast kept in touch until she came back (which she literally did in s6). the fact that margaret barely specified when she was gonna finish college nor did she keep in contact with mordecai tells me how she wanted to put less effort in maintaining her relationship with mordecai. she deffo did that to keep him going crazy over her and it quite literally worked cuz dude literally drove miles away just to hand her clothes that he was sniffing on (the second hand embarrassmentttt). ik that its not just her, but if it wasnt for her inconsiderate rejection we wouldnt have that cringy love triangle that went on throughout season 6.
For all the people complaining about modecai being a bad guy because of his women problem need to realize that rigby is no better and the first part of this episode proves it
