Well people are good at different things. Like my friend draws by having too see a pose and then she can do the rest. She finds it very difficult to draw on a app. While I think it's easier to draw on paper. I prefer and do better of a chromebook with a stylus. I guess people are good at different things.
How to add light: 8:25
How to move layers and how they work: 0:57
What is clipping : 2:37
How to shadow/ blend mode : 3:09
Change how dark shadows are : 3:42
How to add gradation: 5:36

Okay read this carefully...
You noticed when they painted a dark blue on the drawing right?
Tap blend mode and tap multiply (in the first row named darken). It gives dark colors on the drawing like shadows, it's like the clothes gets dark, dark blue just like the color they added for the blending mode.
If you want to know more i advice you to read the blending mode rows. Like the row darken, it only works on dark colors.
And the lighten row it only works on light colors.
And the contrast row, that row is to make your drawing harden the colors of your drawing.
Well if my information is lacking for you, i suggest you to find it yourself, because i find it myself too. Just tap every button in blending mode to find the difference. And my apologies for you if my way of explain is confusing, english is just my second language 😬

It will actually be hard since it curves a lot more
I can't use stabilizer more than 6 in ibis paint because my lineart will hard to make curve.

You make this look so easy and with your finger too! I've been trying to pick up digital art for a while now and it just makes my head spin with how many options there are, how are things work, what brushes to use, how to make it look professional.
You make it look so easy... I can spend 4 hours make one layer of color trying to blend things and make them look realistic and still feel like it looks bad.

@@lavender_heart3831 You should find it in the tools bar. To use it, just scribble over what you want to blur. I recommend making another layer for the things you want to blur because if you don't, the surrounding colors may get blurred if you are using the paint bucket tool.
Haha I've tried that but not using any blending categories I just go normal.. But luckily this video showed up so I clicked here and I learned it. Thank you IbisPaint

That's smudge that's the person is using i think.

she duplicated her add layer and then blurred the duplicated layer. She probably placed the blurred layer below the original add layer.
@@aori583 the OC is talking about the blur she did with the shadows. You are talking about the Gaussian blur that she did with the highlights. My blur doesn't do that either and looks like I used smudge.
With the shadow blur, y'all need to change the brush bc that also changes how it works, I think she's using pen fade but I'm not sure there
This was surprisingly helpful. I usually don’t even know what the blending modes actually do. I just play around till it looks right lol

I found shading white really hard.
Alice Love i often use a blue tone to shade white unless the whole image is more warm, then you could use a orange or something

cherrycide instead of shading it, you add the highlights since it’s already black :3
