@@weball7899een a year since you said this but trying to know how light and shadow work on things like clothes, hair, etc and studying it, then attempting to replicate it can be considered 'practicing to draw things that you cant draw properly at the moment'
hell, even studying basic shapes and things would help, it doesnt have to be a person lel, it just has to be some thing that you think you cant draw well
Don’t know why people say they can’t do the tutorial. You practice with tutorials, you don’t get it on the first try. When I watched the frills video, I didn’t get it right on the first try, but when I practiced, I got better. Same with all of these tutorials :)

Thanks, helped alot. These days Ive been watching tutorials to improve my drawing since I realized I hardly watch any 😅, but watching your tutorials really helped me know more about picking the right colors, shading, and pretty much more.
Honestly, I find coloring the hair one of the most difficult steps without learning any tutorials. By this tutorial, I finally understand how to color in my oc’s hair in a correctly way! Also, I would rate the app 5 stars!

My brain jumbled the steps now my character looks like she got her hair color on a bucket of paint
Tip: You can write down the steps in a sheet of paper, so in that way, you can still follow the steps without missing one and to not mix up the steps.

@@kiyoterauchi7896 about the layers, you can imagine that you are stacking transparent paper. So like when you're coloring, you should put it under your line art so that it won't cover your lines

The one question I still have

Whenever i draw, the lineart looks good but whenever i add colour to it ☹︎
Try looking up colour palettes online and using those! They’ll make the colours on your drawings look better and pleasing to the eye ^^

ill give you a tip- when you are about to out color to your lineart, add a new layer and put that layer below the lineart and then color it. It works!
So thats the use of multiply! I learned something new today.

*When you're so proud of your draw, you spin the camera non-stop*
You put the color layer behind the original lineart layer because not doing so causes the color to lap over the actual black and it won’t be so neat, this applies to other colors in other body areas too

The hardest part by far is adding the final shadows where you make the strands of hair separate. Couldn’t figure it out, gonna have to watch another tutorial. Everything else, learned from this video! Love the channel!
