- Here, I did a comparison between mineral and chemical sunscreen(s). Neutrogena is one of the most affordable brands and they have both type(s) of sunscreen.
The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch in SPF 45 is a chemical sunscreen and The Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Dry-Touch in SPF 50 is a mineral or physical sunscreen.
I'm still on the hunt for an affordable mineral sunscreen $20 under for dark skin or women of colour that won't leave one looking like a ghost.

Could you make a video recommending sunscreens for dark oily skins? I'm very dark skin, white cast is not my friend abeg.
Preferably the lightweight ones. I considered the hydro boost but I felt it'd be too moisturising, and I sweat quite a bit.

Sheer zinc is basically a zinc oxide sunscreen and can be used by athletes who are under long regular exposure to sun, and not for other purposes
Wowwww, you definitely cannot wear the zinc sunscreen on it own, thats a heck of a cast... The sheer absorbed very well into your skin. Thanks for sharing

Yes, it is good for oily skin. If you're still unsure I suggest you pick up Differin SPF Moisturizer. It is lightweight, oil free and I recommend. You can check my sunscreen playlist for my first impression 💛
Sheer zinc seems to be a good option for kids or very pale skin people.

I have a sensitive and acne prone skin. Neutrogena sheer zinc suited me very well. The white caste is definitely a prob for skin of color. My skin is somewhat closer to fair so I could manage. Sometimes it kind of made my face look bright.
I use this mostly for day to day or for swimming. I avoid this when I have to put make up.
I am here researching on the alternative sunscreen that is safe.. chemical free, paraben free, fragrance free but also ++++uav.

@@prabhakarshankar4130 no. i have switched to re equil fruit aha facewash i feel clean with one wash. I dont have acne prob now with this sunscreen and facewash.
Try colorescience sunscreen flex.more expensive but seems to be best available for skin of color that won't leave a white cast

I would keep the zinc oxide sunscreen, just mix with a bit of foundation or tinted face cream that would work well. This is how I apply banana boat physical sunscreen lotion (the perfect one for me ever). Unfortunately banana boat had stopped manufacturing physical sunscreen.

I bought neutrogena ultra sheer spf 70 from Amazon but it came with very oily watery solution,but it hasn't expired yet,Is it safe to use it or no?

I'd go with the one with zinc.. I'll sacrifice a little white cast for the extra protection. Plus, the white casting will disappear after a while.

Did you watch the video at all? If the ultra-sheer gives you a cast, you can mix it with your body lotion to avoid wastage.

I've recently purchased neutrogena mineral sunscreen and watched a vid yesterday about how american sunscreens are not that great as they focus on UVB (prevents sunburn) but not UVA (skin cancer & aging). So I checked the neutrogena one and it says at the back that it prevents sunburn but you need to use with a sunscren product to prevent skin cancer/aging??? Like it says broad spectrum at the front, but that tiny detail at the back basically means that it's only blocking UVB and you'd need something else to block UVA. Is that true?
I'm not sure which of the mineral sunscreens you got, I have also emptied and disposed of the ones in this video. On Neutrogena’s website, the mineral sunscreen I used protects you from both UVA & UVB. I hope this helps.

It also says there in the uses: decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by sun.
Basically, Avobenzone protects from UVA and it’s the SPF that protects you against the UVB. Neutrogena is broad spectrum and It blocks both UVA and UVB.
My ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen is leaving water with it when it comes out a lot of water also comes out with it what is it??? M confused 🤔
I can't remember if this happened to me. If it hasn't expired, I suggest you toss it away.

Ultra Sheer now is changed the white cast stays there the whole day they changed the formula besides i used to us the Ultra Sheer since 16 years it was great the whole years until 2 years they changed it and have a very bad cast on it

They aren't applying the right amount. There's nothing like too much sunscreen! Be generous while applying.
There are so many brands other than Neutrogena. Explore till you find the one.

There's nothing like too much sunscreen hun. If sunscreen leaves a cast, it leaves a cast whether you apply less or above 3 fingers.
