    The most honest review that I have read on u-tube on the Can-am Maverick Sport X XC/MR. One question, did you go with the same size tires on the front and rear? wheels 14" or 15" ? What size tires? Nice review, I will have one!! 2024 or 2025.

    You know, and what I'm about to say is by any means justifying the stealership, but the technician only get .5 hours to troubleshoot the issue. And the way they code things for repairs, especially for extended warranties, they slapped a transmission because he didn't want to burn his TS time. I'll bet it was in hopes that a transmission would resolve your issue. Me as a tech I would have pulled each axle off one at a time and driven it to see if it would resolve the issue. But one axle R&R is 1.3 hours of labor blows the .5 hours of TS time. It's ridiculous, but it's the world that we live in. All and all, I'll make sure I get my extended warranty when I buy mine. Great video man.

      Kind of an interesting post without knowing the story.
      They got an hour to diagnose.
      It was a rotational clicking from the left rear specifically when turning, which is almost to a T the typical axle complaint.
      They ordered a transmission. Which was on back order for 3 months, kind of a bummer for at the time a 6 month old SXS. They had an axle in stock.
      Waited 3 months. Put trans in. Called and said noise still there needs an axle. Put axle in. Fixed.
      I brought it home and instantly checked all fluids. The brand new trans was not even on the dipstick for fluid. Not even on it!!!! I had to add .75 of an entire quart to put the trans at correct fluid level!
      Also found the inner belt box hose for the air intake completely disconnected and flowing water into the box. I had to reinstall that pipe and clamp.
      If you ask me, now that’s a pack of idiots right there.

    I've heard a lot that the stock axels are junk. Super ATV replacement are the way to go.

      Yeah I agree! I have went through two sets of stock rear axles. They never break. Just eventually get crazy noisy with clicking. I just replaced the left rear at 1500 miles with a Rhino 2.0 axle. Good so far!

    @randyphillips559 Год назад +2

    Ha isn't that the way it is, you wanted a XMR & got a RC, I wanted a RC & ended up with a XMR! We both got the same clicks in the rear 😔
    Don't be afraid to remove rear sway bar as well!

    • @SevenFingerAdventures
      @SevenFingerAdventures  Год назад +1

      The noise is back again! I for sure need a left rear axle again. I’ve had both rears replaced with stock ones once so far, and the rotational clicking noise is back again super loud.

      @@SevenFingerAdventures What axle are you replacing with?? I'm going to order one to have on hand but it won't be factory.

    Great video! I have the same machine btw. I just ordered a set of whips for mine. How did you mount yours?

    • @SevenFingerAdventures
      @SevenFingerAdventures  Год назад +2

      Awesome! You have to get harnesses in that thing if you don’t. I love them compared to the normal seat belt.
      Anyway, keninoto makes a whip flag mount that goes right on the can an roll bar.
      I bought those.

    Wish I would have went with the XRC over the XXC

    • @SevenFingerAdventures
      @SevenFingerAdventures  Год назад +1

      Why? There are only a few subtle differences aren’t there? Skid plates and rock sliders maybe?

    • @JayKaskade1776
      @JayKaskade1776 Год назад +1

      @SevenFingerAdventures specifically and only the front diff rock mode. XXC has the "trail active" mode. To be honest I'm not exactly sure what the difference is. Lower gearing?

    • @SevenFingerAdventures
      @SevenFingerAdventures  Год назад +2

      @@JayKaskade1776 yeah, mine had a trail mode and rock mode. I think it just changes the sensitivity of the AWD engagement.

      @JayKaskade1776 Год назад +1

      The TRAIL ACTIV mode has been designed for aggressive riding in delivering the ultimate in cornering precision. On undulating terrain, quick corners, and loose surfaces, TRAIL ACTIV mode maximizes the 4WD system's speed, efficiency, and predictability.
      When high engine torque and/or an increase in vehicle speed is detected, Smart-Lok will progressively engage (lock) the front end until the throttle is released or the vehicle’s speed is reduced. The progressive engagement allows smoother steering effort and predictable response.
      Key inputs monitored: Engine torque and vehicle speed
      *Smart-Lok was developed in conjunction with TEAM Industries, a market leader in the drive train industry

      @JayKaskade1776 Год назад +1

      Smart-Lok is always adapting to the conditions by monitoring exactly what the vehicle’s doing over several parameters. Press the MUD button, though, and special calibrations for wet, boggy, and soft muddy terrain are engaged. MUD mode fully locks the front end when high engine torque and / or slippage are detected.
      With four drive modes (2x4, locked 4x4, MUD, and TRAIL) to choose from and 8 on the hardworking Defender X mr models, you're able to overcome deeper obstacles than ever.
