I appreciated your story about the giant you lost, with bonus inset video. Throwing back into the same spot every time since, something we all can relate to.
I'm finally getting out tomorrow morning! After waiting through a long annoying 4 months of frozen water and ridiculous weather it is finally time here in the finger lakes!
What a nice outing on the delta. Seemed Iike a great day to fish. Beautiful scenery, and you caught fish. Trebles are trouble when lipping the bucket heads.
Great day for sure! Definitely unless they're like 5+ pounders with big bucket mouths to grab. always dicey landing those smaller fish with the trebles ready to shake into your hand!
The Delta is not only a great place, it keeps you sharp! You will only be a great fishrrman if you fish challenging water. You are pretty darned Good Greg!
So happy for you getting that good day on the Delta👍🏼‼️Love your videos, Greg. Always love how you allow the viewers to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the critters, too❣️🐢🦝❤
No net! LOL! Except for the wind, the Delta looked perfect. We did our share of screaming at the set when the bass came unbuttoned (enough to freak out our three dogs!) I'll have to remember the Shakeyhead with the Senko 👍 Good job in getting some healthy fish and the big one for bragging rights 🤗🎣🤗
Being that I’m watching this on March 4th it’s getting close to that time of year with all the rain & full Lakes it should be a good spring & summer. Nice to see ya catching some early fish. 👍
NEEEEET! Don't leave home without it! :) Congrats on the 2nd place finish. Wise to stay on that point the entire time. "...don't leave fish to find fish.." great vid as always.
Be good to the fish and the fish will be good to you. Lol , sorry, just waking up. Thanks for the video Greg. This year is going to be so great. On my way out to catch me some pre spawn bass today. There is not a single time that I don't get excited when you catch fish. That's really kinda cool.
We had talked about replenishing your store with more product next month. My question for you is, will you provide larger sizes in your store for those that have a little more around the mid section LOL? Thank you for your response it’s great seeing a new video I’ve been enjoying watching the classics, but seeing what your doing today makes me smile and can’t get enough of them t take care and God bless!❤❤
Ahh yes coffee ☕️ is good, and Greg is on the Delta and the Bass are being friendly to Greg LOL. Good mornin , Greg I think your really going to do well this year. Thanks for the video Greg , and when do we get to see the Tournament video???
No NET!!! You crazy. You on the CA. delta! Never know what you could hook out there. If that was a 15lb striper we would be seeing a unexpected swimming video.😂 Way to still figure them out and nail a few good one. Glad to see there are some good one out there for now. Last couple years been rough for any size.😢
Spinnerbaits never left…should change blade to a Colorado early through late spring , reel it slower… and use a red one.. white later on with willow leaf
Great video Greg always enjoyable watching your videos. I can't help but think those high gear ratio reels you're using are moving those baits way too fast in the Delta this time of year. 8:1.1 reels move them baits fast. None of us can know everything that's for sure but most people I see catching fish at the Delta this time of year and catching good size ones are fishing way slower than you are. A big sign of moving the bait too fast is catching Dinks only. That jerbait caused you to slow down which is why you caught better fish on it.
Hey Greg, I've been following you for years. One recommendation I might make is to keep a hook file in your pocket and check hook points every so often. Perhaps you could have kept a couple of those missed bites pinned. Let me know if you are ever in Austin, would love to collab.
have done a few trips back east including BASS and Hobie BOS in the past 4-5 years but just depends on timing and if the trip is worth it. Would be cool to get the crew together tho and do a trip back easy for a national tournament
Great video man! Im so stoked to get out on the kayak again. Can you tell me where you got that rolling table your kayak is sitting on? Thats a great idea!
Nice job! You got me excited to go out to the delta. I am curious what area were you in (what launch)? Looking forward to getting after them. Caliman out!✌🏼
Was finally able to go fishing yesterday up here in Wisconsin. Some guys started trouble by throwing over my line multiple time. Walked away. Have you ever encounter the same issue with these type of people??
I'd say for that situation and to cover those bases a 7'6'' Heavy rod. i've used this one for a-rigs and a punch and had good success - bit.ly/3Ec9ErD just keep in mind imo i think a frog rod should be a bit shorter to work the bait and make better casts but you could still get away with using the 7'6''
Orwood is way nicer, big break ramp is miserable honestly lol. I doubt he’s going to give spots out cus there would be no fish there the next day. If you’re looking for spots, just explore and cover a ton of water with a confidence bait. Wind last couple of days killed the water clarity but it looks like it’s better out south right now. We had 3 yesterday launching from russos.
all good! same as the spinning rod setup i have in this video. the only difference would be if i'm fishing a weedless dropshot in places such as the delta the hook will be a 2/0 troker lightwire hook
I gotta ask- How do you load your kayak without damaging the transducer? I spent a couple of hours last night trying to get mine installed correctly, but if it's under the kayak, it hits the truck bed. I dont wanna let it rest on the transducer or the rudder, but I just can't seem to get it in the bed without it resting on one. Any tips?

@@dne3142 no boat here so we wait for rivers south if canandaigua lake to warm up. Hoping today’s the day
@@Zane3388 that's what's up! I went to flcc so I spent some time fishing that area!
Still snowing here in southern Oregon so no early spring here. 😢
At least you got to see her! That was unique! Thanks for taking us along.

Good Morning. What a nice way to start the first week of March. Keep up the great reporting.
It's gonna be good fishing this March, I can feel it!
The Delta is not only a great place, it keeps you sharp! You will only be a great fishrrman if you fish challenging water. You are pretty darned Good Greg!
Shaky head is the current MVP for you! Delta is treating you much better the start of this year than last thats for sure.

Greg, this is amazing! You put your video up one hour ago and you already have 129k views, you the man!
Thanks for the nice report Greg. Always enjoy watching you fish the Delta. It's an amazing place!
Love the Delta!

Another Gr8 day on the water--👍😎
Woohoo!!! Good morning GB and fellow early birds.
Good to see you getting it done out there!

Like the info on bait and tackle on screen cool thanks
Bites starting to get better here also, Nice video
Love delta videos, while I have nothing like it in Ohio it fishes similarly to places I like to go, cover and depth wise
Good morning Greg really enjoyed the video keep them coming stay safe , Alex out !
You’re a great fisherman 👍🏻
Oh yeah, GB getting it done!

New merch and restock in process right now! just finding a new printer but will definitely get some more sizes!
It's crazy weather now! Snow at my house and I'm sure you guys are getting lots of rain down there in the valley.

Good morning gentlemen is coffee ☕️ time
Cheers! I have my coffee in hand. Have a good week.
Man , the rain won this weekend😢 at least I have mornings with Greg😅 ☕️
Taking advantage of their predatorial instincts when they are not particularly hungry good job Greg !
Red spinnerbait for the delta is the bait for this time of year.

i think this will be a good year on the delta!
it will change when the snow pack melts and the water will change temp. good job, greg!
Spinnerbaits never left…should change blade to a Colorado early through late spring , reel it slower… and use a red one.. white later on with willow leaf
Great video thank you very much
Shakey head is a killer on the delta greg I've caught a lot of fish on them!
Woke up to a slight dusting of snow on the ground here in Idaho. Not quite spring yet. Soon! Very soon and Bass will be moving up shallow.

Alright you've came around to the spinnerbait last couple years and finally a Shakey head... Wheres that swim jigggg.. got to be a killer on the Delta
Greg if you like Shakey head worms try those smh z-man worms, works great and last for a ton of fish.
Whoa 😮 GB is talking to us from the past… does that mean we are from the future

Copy! would love to come back to cen tex. lady bird lake was cool but walter E long was my favorite
@@GregBlanchardFishing I've been fortunate to watch you grow as an angler and your filming style makes us all feel part of the journey.
Love hate relationship with the delta! 😅
Pre~spawn bass are weird. Did a great job catching a few
As long as we don't get any crazy weather , queue this weekend😂
and i still went out haha
“To catch the feesh, you must first become the feesh”
Sounds like a Debo.... Find wood, pitch to wood.....
I think it would be super cool if you did some type of limited equipment video or bank fishing video!
Oh yeah
I have caught so many bass on spinnerbaits this year
Have you ever thought about going further, like the bass master kayak series? Or do you like what you’re doing now with the gang and all?
have done a few trips back east including BASS and Hobie BOS in the past 4-5 years but just depends on timing and if the trip is worth it. Would be cool to get the crew together tho and do a trip back easy for a national tournament
net net net net net never fails
Greg, you make bass fishing look so easy.
Ah, thanks but I definitely have my fair share of tough days out there

can you make a video on your kayak setup? parts used, how you setup your transducer etc
Booyah
I agree with always asking why! Otherwise you’re just chucking baits!
Greg❤
"Waters warming up its about 50's right now" -cries in New England weather

Was finally able to go fishing yesterday up here in Wisconsin.
Some guys started trouble by throwing over my line multiple time. Walked away.
Have you ever encounter the same issue with these type of people??
Should do a giveaway where a subscriber can come out and fish with you for a day would be great fun
Another great video. Does the little sunshsade on your gopro really help with overheating?
Put that (expletive deleted) net in the boat man!😅
Try slowing down that retrieve on the spinner bait a little bit bud. Cheers
After the delta. Can you go fishing at a lake called. ‘Collins lake’ located @northern Cali
Will you make a video of how you load all that stuff into your truck?
Killer day out there! Does that white cover on the rear Gopro work pretty good for deflecting the heat?
awesome video...where did you get the knob for your handle : )
What are some good areas to launch for kayak fishing in the delta
indeed they are catching craws coming out of their winter burrows...
So question how does one set up a trip with you to learn how to Bass Fish??
@9:20
Still wondering about the switch from Shimano to abu. I've asked a couple of times over the years so I'm starting to assume it's a secret. Lol
haha it's no secret and I've been working with Abu for a few years now.
@@GregBlanchardFishing sick dude, congrats 🤟
Great video man! i have to ask i want a good frog/a-rig/punching rod that i could get for 100$-150$ do you know any?
I'd say for that situation and to cover those bases a 7'6'' Heavy rod. i've used this one for a-rigs and a punch and had good success - bit.ly/3Ec9ErD
just keep in mind imo i think a frog rod should be a bit shorter to work the bait and make better casts but you could still get away with using the 7'6''
@@GregBlanchardFishing Thank you so much! keep up the good content!
Yeah it really hurts when it get caught by a tree and the fish is tagging along with it and then you lose it 😅😅.. like fudge!!
Every time the casting montage ends and he starts reeling I'm thinking he going to set the hook on one 😅
Gotta keep you on your toes lol
Greg regarding all these waters you fish are all these saltwater lakes you do too for your tournaments?
@greg do you always have your rods in a specific configuration on the modded crate?
Not trying to poach your spots ;) ... but where do / did you launch out of ? I usually go out of Big Break but it's mud out there. Orwood def better.
Hey Greg sorry to bother you ..but what's your drop shot setup and do you use the same setup for you weightless senko?
all good! same as the spinning rod setup i have in this video. the only difference would be if i'm fishing a weedless dropshot in places such as the delta the hook will be a 2/0 troker lightwire hook
That spot where you lost the hog, is it inhabited by otters? Kinda looks familiar.
On average, how long does it take you to get from home to launching?
I gotta ask- How do you load your kayak without damaging the transducer? I spent a couple of hours last night trying to get mine installed correctly, but if it's under the kayak, it hits the truck bed. I dont wanna let it rest on the transducer or the rudder, but I just can't seem to get it in the bed without it resting on one.
Any tips?
Hey Greg, what steering pedals are those? Didn’t see them in the boat overview and I don’t think I’ve seen them anywhere else.
Is this the shorter kayak or the 12 footer? I'm thinking it looks like the shorter one
12
How much are you paying these bass? How many sierra nevadas?
If you dont mind sharing but how much do you pay to have your kayak registered?
Can anyone recommend a launch ramp in the Delta that is not at a big marina? I'm coming from San Francisco. Thanks in advance.
WOWWWWWW ANOTEHR NEW VIODEO CHEEEERS Ima pack up my tent andd myy beers ad cominga to see ya sooooon
You need your net next time
incase you didnt hear greg, he in fact did not have a net on the delta
