Buy a the biggest broken back Rebel. It has big hooks and you don't need a net. A pond lure that will show you the biggest bass in a pond. I don't allow myself to fish ponds because of that lure.
I took my son for his first fishing trip and tried the bait you suggested and we had the best day of our lives together!thank you for doing this for us!

Just fully retired after 28 years active duty Air Force and 15 years working for the Air Force as a Government Service employee. So after 42 years I can fish more and more. I like how you pointed out that these were more subtle baits and that coming behind people that are most likely throwing major water moving baits would get more bites. Gonna give it a shot
