Lou Zer KenFlo and Dana White are friends and fellow Bostonians, Dan Hardy is still employed by the UFC, Matt Serra and Dana White do a show together and was also given a gig as a host for the UFC's flagship podcast. Bottomline: all the guys you mentioned are retired UFC fighters but all are still employed by the UFC in one way or another. Brendan Shaub didn't get any help from UFC or Dana White after he retired.
