I mean theyre obviously joking around but I’m pretty sure Kevin is actually drunk. So far that’s barely been mentioned or pointed out at all in the podcast so I don’t really see what the point of faking that would be especially if they aren’t gonna do any bits around it. He like subtly sounds drunk the entire time he’s slurring and mispeaking, and honestly I don’t think Kevin is a good enough actor to be stone cold sober and be doing this sort of subtle drunk performance for a random podcast that wasn’t even very popular.
