- This is our short video highlighting the best of the Berghotel Schlossanger Alp Hotel near Pfronten in Bavaria, Germany. Right on the Austrian border the hotel has spectacular views of the Austrian Alps, and is about to be extended and transformed into a wellness retreat. The closest airport is Memmingen, around 30 minutes, which Ryanair fly to, or Munich is approximately 1.5 hours by car. We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and the views and cuisine are amazing. You can ski not far from the hotel in the winter too!
