Not going to lie 2 seconds in I had to pause the video to avoid dying of laughter. Wake up at 6.30. 😂 I’m already never going to accomplish this😂🤷♀️
The amount of will power and discipline you have to wake up at 6:30 is amazing, I literally sleep at that time these days.

If you lot see this one tip that I found amazing was to do a huge double page spider mind map on every topic you don't understand in all of your topics. Literally blurt them out on the page - then when you have like 3 months to the exams you pattern up and start learning all the things you wanted to/felt you needed to improve on. Bless up everyone and enjoy this lockdown as much as you can
I can see the quality of the videos stepping up/improving. Keep up the great work!

3:50 - I would also recommend when doing these questions to absolutely NOT guess any of them. If you do and get it right, you won’t review it, and therefor in an exam you probably won’t have the same luck and guess it right. Great video though overall
Literally one of the best tips and video out there for revision. That's coming from a year 12 student whose gone through God knows how many of these. Thank you.

You are so crispy 🤩
Woah that’s literally what I do took forever to craft this revision technique as I added on to it throughout gcse and a level
Thank you so much! You're amazing! ✨
The closest I’ve got to a 9 was in year 9 when in Chemistry, I usually get 5s and then out of the blue got an 8!!!
My friend Toby, got all 9s in year 9, and he is mostly top set for almost every subject now
I’m still good now I get like a 6 in chemistry, could’ve got a 7 if I finished the back haha
Me: That test was hard
Friend: The back was harder
Me: *THE....WHAT*
Also got a 7 in Physics and a 4 in Biology but then on the second test got a 7, and guess what
My friend got a 9 in Biology, jeez like what does he do?!
Love your videos, I’m inspired ❤️❤️

Can you make a video on the best way to get a job at 17 or the best jobs to do at 17?
The louis Litt mug topped this off for me :)
I am really going to hate my predicted grades...
nice video
Thank you, sure they will turn out alright 😁
what about for English Literature, Politics, Pyschology, Law, History : where do we get the notes from (like how you have integral notes for maths) for these subjects?
Banz For English literature you can get the poetry revision guides which is very helpful and then for the books you can make cue cards on RUclips videos like that by mrbruff. For history, again there are textbooks but I actually made a video on that because it is slightly different. Then for politics and law I’m not too sure as I didn’t do those. Hope that helps 😁
@@JakeClarke Yeah thanks for that.
How To Teen - JC For English Lit A level i would recommend cue cards for critics and literature quotes and then essay plans on key themes. For Politics collate notes from classwork (I would recommend typing up) AND textbooks/revision guide, following the points on the spec and aiming to get all the notes in one place. Then make essay plans on common questions which come up. Hope it helps :)
I was so confused when u started working out cuz I was just here for the revision tips😂😂

How do you know if a certain piece of information is important?? Whenever I want to summarize chapters, I find myself writing the whole chapter all over again ...
I mean I end up writing most of the chapters, but I just make sure that I do it in a condensed form, like it goes into a lot of detail in the books so I just take out the main (important) points and condense the rest into annotations that let me understand it if that makes sense?
@@JakeClarke The thing is, I'm afraid that if I don't write this sentence, it would definitely come in the exam and that's why I write it all
But you can cover everything without writing everything from the book Youknow?
@@JakeClarke how ?
Lul Al-Zerikat what subjects do you do?

thats going to be a whole lot of cue cards
It is haha
Your a good guy JC ❤️
what's the best thing u could say to a yr 11 student who had been revising for GCSE'S but due to the pandemic it has cancelled making me think whether i should prepare for A'levels or revise a bit in this situation or do nothing as I'm going to be get my predicted grades in August?
QAS TYPICALGAMER Any subjects you are doing for alevel, do a little bit of revision for them because it helps to prepare you for the A-level but other than that it might be worth looking over the A-level course, at least while we are still in lockdown because doing absolutely nothing would be pretty boring haha
QAS TYPICALGAMER I’m pretty sad that we are getting our predicted I was doing so well and I was on the verge of 8s and 9s but due to the pandemic will probably be getting 7s
The best thing you can say is ‘at least you’re not year 12’
@@dunyasabery1318 but I'm in yr 11 so where do we go from here
Me: I need to study
Also me: ugghhh studying
So useful!! I want to ask how do you organise the cue cards you've created? I'm worried that I'll make LOADS
Grace S Oh trust me, you will make a lot 😂 But I put them into folders split into the chapters of the resource if that makes sense? Eg my chemistry folder will be split into c1,c2,c3 etc with cue cards in plastic wallets in each. I will make a video on my revision organisation soon if it helps

Why didn't I find this video a few months ago 😩😭I have my internal exams in 2 days :(((
could you make a video on getting a headstart on a levels?
“thank you for this video! Really enjoyed it! I’m sure you will like our video, too, about the alevels, how to get top grades and why so many people got A*s this year...
Nice video, I'm in yr11 and wanted to know whether it would be wise to continue revising for subjects that i may want to redo cause I feel I may not get the correct grade I wanted due to mocks or do some preparation for A-level work,
Thanks
Jordan Fernandes I would start preparing for A-level by revising the GCSE content because the GCSE is the foundation for A-level (in the science and maths anyway). You basically kill two birds with one stone.
@@JakeClarke Thank you👍
How To Teen - JC does it matter if you do triple or combined
i’m the only year 11 watching this 😳 i wanna appeal even if i pass i just wanna appeal
Did you really ask yourself why for everything single thing you read because that can be stressful sometimes especially in maths?
Or did you just try understand what the book gave you?
Yeah so my ‘why’ questioning is more just making sure I thoroughly understand it rather than just blankly copying down the information
Might revise for maths now to do a resit and try get 7 cus im stuck on 6
well mate what do you have to say about A levels now ?? with no exams etc...
Krish Makwana I mean for year 13s its a weird one, but for me in year 12 I think our exams will still be on (not mocks) and so we will still have to keep it up to make sure we don’t slip. Then with predicted for uni, it’s hard for a lot of people because they didn’t really have a chance to show what they could do.
I haven't revised at all -.-
Question is, do you want it?
Do make for o levels candidates
Thanks for the help!
I really want to know how you divided your revision for each subject. For example did you do one subject a week or did you do different subjects everyday etc.
Imagine doing gcse lol corona sorted mine out 😅
Hey, i think you mentioned making a video on business gcses in your 'how to get all 9s' video. Not sure if you're still upto that, but I'm kind of struggling with the subject. If anyone has any tips, replies would be appreciated.
I’ll try to get one done soonish for you!!
@@JakeClarke thankyouu 😅😊
I’m year 9 going into year 10 when I go back after corona when should I start revising?
defo! if you start now I promise you'll thank yourself in year 10 and 11.also since we're in lockdown make sure you're going over things you have been thought this year constantly so when you go back to school you won't be that much behind. Good luck x
honestly don’t stress, and don’t feel like you have to start now, bc you’ll risk burning yourself out. If you are starting now though, I’d suggest just making your revision materials ready for y11, but I would’ve done it at the end of y10, bc you’ll have covered a lot of your content
If you started gcse in year 9, do light revision in year 10, going over your year 9 exam content and then year 10 stuff when you're nearing mid to end of year 10, doing practice questions, flashcards etc to jog your memory. You'll be glad in year 11, it will be so much easier. Start the hard-core revision (a revision timetable and stuff) in summer year 10 when you're about to go year 11 when you're not doing anything (lets be honest you're not going to be busy all summer) from September year 11, 100% hard-core revsion, don't be those people who start revising in march of year 11, there's too much content for that, you'll be overwhelmed and feel unprepared.

I was just wondering how you stay so motivated at a time like this? I try to do work but it feels aimless and tedious and I just can’t see the end goal.
Jack Bridge Most of the time the end goal is hidden and there’s no immediate benefit to doing something. But then I look at myself and I ask myself why I am not doing it. I try to prove to myself each and every day that I am able to put in the effort and work hard. Even if on some days I simply don’t want to or can’t see why I should, it’s then that it takes most to prove to myself that I can overcome that mindset and do it. Likelihood is I’m not going to use a fair share of what I do. But I am likely to use the skills, determination and proof of effort in everything else that I do. I do it to improve not my academics, to improve myself as a person. That’s how I stay motivated :)
How To Teen - JC Thanks man I appreciate it. You’re a real role model, keep up the great content.

Are these revision tips and techniqes for natural genius students who want to get A stars because it is made by someone who is a genius and extremely gifted. Will these revision techniques work for an average Joe like me?
You’ve got a Litt Up mug!!!
Quick question. I’ve been sitting and making notes but instead of them being set notes the subheading instead would be questions. I then condense this further into flash cards. Both quite time consuming. Do you think instead of this I should jump straight into flashcards instead so revising by learning the content through flashcards.
Liza Khan Yeah I think that would be a good idea as doing both like you said takes a lot of time.
How To Teen - JC okay. Thank you so muchhh. So straight to flashcards is just better way. Thank you.
How did u get to work at Sainsbury’s. Especially only 2 days a week !
