I really love what you did with the premise of ‘you can only see this transmission if you’re one of us’. Because obviously, we would be able to see it. You wouldn’t think much of it as the audience, because pfft there’s no way we’re actually one of them, we see it because we have no content to watch otherwise. Then, at the very end, the implication that they did revert the crisis, at least in an alternate universe, by giving everyone olympian blood. And that WE are the alternate universe, this current reality that we’re living in - of course we can see the transmissions! We ARE one of them! Also, I really love the thought you put into the story and execution of all your projects, you are so incredibly talented!

i really enjoyed this, it felt very creative! i think the usage of the, like, goanimate-style animations near the beginning were interesting, it's cool to see a deviation from the typical 90s-style television stuff.
As far as unique and creative analog-style videos, this channel is a gold mine. I also really appreciate how much effort you put into all of your work (tangi virus, oracle etc) and none of it disappoints! I wish only the best for you in whatever you plan to do next.

Very well done executing your idea here. I especially loved the ending. The fact that reality kept warping back and forth in real time was a great gimmick. Your style of story telling honestly reminds me of the Twilight Zone. Sure some aspects might be silly on the face of it, But as part of a story or world building, much of your work is quite effective. This one was not really scary but more Sci Fi creepy. This why it reminded me of the Twilight Zone.

Ooooh now this is interesting. I've only watched this after the Tangi virus, but it makes me wonder if it's connected. Though the Tangi virus sounds like more of a Backwards Many thing than the Forward Few. Like how the Tangi was an intergalactic threat and was only treatable thanks to Oracle (in that timeline at least). It also makes me wonder if the Forward Few/Olympians are the Black Eyed Children. Aaah I'm so glad I binged this channel! So much brilliantly interwoven lore which explains the analogue aspect of it (time/timelines/timey-wimey-wibbly-wobbly-stuff)
They all are in the same universe in cates crossing. In the oracle it talks about aliens which I think are the black eyed children cause it said in that video it says that they’re aliens, and the oracle also mentions people from a different reality which I think are the backwards many.

Everything with the exception of the downgrades and Nobody connects in someway. They all share the theme of inevitability. As I continue, some series will connect more directly than others. I have lots of weird ideas, so to keep it from getting confusing, I started separating everything by seasons. The only thing that is consistent though is Cate’s Crossing which there is a reason for. I’d love if this idea was based on something real like the scientific theory that at the beginning of the universe, another universe was formed at the same time where time runs in the opposite direction. If not, then incredible coincidence.
Well...this is surprising. I'll be real with you-this feels weaker than he Boil Advisory series. Don't get me wrong, the basic idea of an esoteric entity that's antagonistic towards us for undiscernible reasons usually makes for good cosmic horror, but the idea that the main antagonist is a group of what appear to be time travelers that act backways because their counterparts don't have Olympian Blood seems silly (especially given how they appear to move at normal speed at the end-weren't they supposed to be faster than normal?). The initial idea of a "signal" being broadcasted specifically to those who *might* fit the criteria sounded interesting at first but felt like it was not that important by the time we got to the ending, especially given what I interpret as the first narrator being some sort of Manchurian Agent all along...or something. Boil Advisory did have its moments, but the basic idea of a local government actively covering up a potentially fatal problem with its water supply so that it gets more money at least felt grounded in something understandable. That said, there were some things I felt were executed well-a second perspective on events hidden in the video itself using a Pareidolia effect was really cool, and while I'll admit that the antagonists were a bit silly, the premise of "Future humanity sending signals to the past to avoid a catastrophe" is interesting regardless of how toothless the Backwards Many are. Incidentally, the transmissions having different art styles when getting into the in-universe PSA's was a nice touch, and definitely stands out as improvement in video editing technique. In conclusion, while I didn't feel scared about any of this, I feel that you can take this as a lesson learned and use the experience you have from this to make better stories in the future.
Fair enough! But on the toothless comment- I have to say that the Backward do wipe the Forward out and was on the verge of killing everyone. And the plot that only a select group could see the signals did continue to the end. Or at least that was the hope. The point was they died off and then by the end everyone was transformed into someone with Olympian blood. Oh well, to each their own. 3:43 If I might offer a slight nitpick as criticism, the artstyle of that animation doesn't really match the old, vintage VHS style of typical analog horror. It's a modern corporate style.

I enjoyed the first few of your videos that I saw very much. There was just one problem, and it's very severe in this one: volume. It ranges from so soft that I can't understand it to so loud that it hurts my ears and in some cases scares the shit out of my cats. Besides that, RUclips keeps presenting your multi-part stories to me in random order, but volume is the big difficulty and turning on closed captioning is by no means a perfect solution. All that said, you do great work. H.P. Lovecraft would be proud.

@@vintageeight, i pretty much creep'd out by all of this vintage anatomic schemes. They're like, in context of horror, looks like "we want to warn you, and now explain what you should be scared of". Creeps me every time :) One thing that stops me of sharing "one of us" with friends is that... "walk backwards", like... i think it would be scarier if they were played on montage to walk backwards, like you don't really know what they do to you and how they can catch you, but "uncanny valley" did whole job. Anyway, that was pretty spooky, now time for Tangi!
I can't speak for everyone and maybe I have bad hearing but it would help if the deep voice on the "reversed" transmissions was more understandable. I caught some of it.
Yeah, my thought was what if there were 2 forces constantly at war, and as they fight the world changes around us. But we never know… we just see a few things that remind us of something we thought we knew. But to answer your question, yeah she sets a new timeline.

Man, I really like this channel, but I hate turning up the volume because I can't here the dialogue, and then having my ears blown out by loud ass static. It doesn't scare me, it's just really annoying. I think the people who make this should fix the audio levels. I'd enjoy the videos way more.
This movie is actually based on the greek myth - “According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves." Instead of it being man from woman I made it man's good nature and evil nature. The evil side goes backwards while the good travel forward.

@@vintageeight, i pretty much creep'd out by all of this vintage anatomic schemes. They're like, in context of horror, looks like "we want to warn you, and now explain what you should be scared of". Creeps me every time :)
One thing that stops me of sharing "one of us" with friends is that... "walk backwards", like... i think it would be scarier if they were played on montage to walk backwards, like you don't really know what they do to you and how they can catch you, but "uncanny valley" did whole job.
Anyway, that was pretty spooky, now time for Tangi!

Yeah, my thought was what if there were 2 forces constantly at war, and as they fight the world changes around us. But we never know… we just see a few things that remind us of something we thought we knew. But to answer your question, yeah she sets a new timeline.

Man, I really like this channel, but I hate turning up the volume because I can't here the dialogue, and then having my ears blown out by loud ass static. It doesn't scare me, it's just really annoying. I think the people who make this should fix the audio levels. I'd enjoy the videos way more.

This movie is actually based on the greek myth - “According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves." Instead of it being man from woman I made it man's good nature and evil nature. The evil side goes backwards while the good travel forward.
So is the whole backward many vs. forward few feud meant to be the thing that ties all the other horror series together? Or is this just an unrelated thing happening in the background?
