First off I think it fitted nicely in the recording. Second, as Josh end up saying; “well, I did have a lot of fun..” that really shines through in all of you and THAT dimension is what make your music not only good but great😊

But the whole point of Steely Dan is that the records kind of say it all. Live shows were never the point compared to some other bands ( The Who? Grateful Dead? ). And the band was two guys and a large group of revolving session men.

Frankly I wasn't so thrilled by the song as much as I was by the electrifying and astoundingly tight sound of the band: great to have Jim Hogan back, wonderful (and bewildering) to see Julia Chen joining this talented lot (the always composed Adam Neely, the Joshuas Lee, the McKees...). And, of course, the invisible camera woman who gives meaningful video time to each and everyone of them... A great august to all the musicians (and to everybody) in the whole world 😊.

It's so much fun to see this 40 year lost Steely Dan track getting so much new life blown into it lately by many new covers and remixes from the recovered tapes. Nice job guys (and lady!).

A few days later now, this has really proved to be an earworm. It keeps getting stuck in my mind, and I keep coming back to this vid.

Legit got teary eyed listening to this. You not only did the original justice but amplified all the best parts of it while incorporating your own magic. Excellent work y'all!!!

I love seeing all this. The sound is no-compromise (terrific!). It is wonderful to see the arrangement of the gear, microphones and acoustical room management, the talent and enthusiasm of the artists, and what can be achieved in a small space. Awesome. Well done, folks. I do wonder what the neighbours on the other side of those walls think of what they are hearing. :)

Damn that was just perfect. Swift is handing out 100,000 to her truck drivers and I really hope you are all doing well financially. I don't begrudge anyone their success but I cry for the talent that isn't rewarded.

Listening to this masterpiece to test some new 500$ headphones is so cool. High quality headphones change the listening experience totally. It's a whole new planet.

That is an impressive sound out of 13 channels in your apartment! Having such talented friends surely helps, but still, respect for the production!
