I struggle for words . . . I've watched and listened to you for over a decade now and still I'm unable to express how that seeing and hearing makes me feel. You are at once a virtuoso on guitar (and pretty much every other stringed instrument you get your hands on) , a gifted singer with a voice that continues to season and mellow beyond expectations, a modern minstrel/troubadour, this generation's cultural poet laureate, and an obviously genuinely nice guy who attracts other gifted musical artists like moths to a flame. I'm old, so I won't get to see how far this actually goes. But, it will clearly go very, very far. What you do is undeniable and unstoppable. I'm honored to bask in the generosity of your gift to us all. Thank you.

Passion for music, great selection of covers, genius arrangements, great song writer, I'm sure this list is missing numerous items. Also just a super gentle personality. Must have tremendous parents. I wonder how many guitar Josh has. The country singer Josh Turner has talent, but total talent, no comparison. And Josh Lee Turner, he's Cool.

Can we just appreciate how good he is at producing? I mean, no fancy record label to get all the thousand dollar equipment and place it in the right spots and spend hours editing, shifting the lights, combining all the instruments with the right amount of volume. This is spectacular, I can't imagine how much patience and knowledge you must have to record all these songs with such precision alone. Cheers.

My impression is that Josh is a new breed of musician; completely immersed into the beauty and love of music in all its splendor, so much so that commercialization ( profit oriented) would put too many constraints on him. He cannot be defined or boxed in. His talents and gifts continue to blossom. He continues to experience more joy in his creations and he shares his unending permutations and combinations of music. Stay independent , Josh. Keep loving what you do!

I am 52 and decided to start learning guitar. I had my first lesson a few days ago and have a newfound respect for the instrument and those who play it well. Beautiful video!

I love the first record but this one feels more focused, like there's a consistent mood throughout. I feel like the current state of the world has influenced the lyrics. Hope to catch you again sometime. I love the album art wish i had a big Public Life poster.

If I could write music, I would write a song like the first one. No note was left undone. Such a moving piece happily balanced and filled with emotion. Awe-some!

The cat certainly helps! :) Seriously, though, Josh plays guitar better than I've ever dreamed of doing. And sings ditto.
