Anyone who defends this is insane. I don't care what Norman said you go out and play to win. People have been trying to intimidate opposing players since football began. Odell let it work against him. Jerry Rice never did shit like that. He just went out and made catches, scored touchdowns and helped his team win.

Beckham, the officials AND Coughlin were all to blame here. The officials for not making the calls and Coughlin for not pulling Beckham aside and getting in his ear.
Norman is equivalent to the bully who attempts to physically intimidate another kid but when the kid starts standing up to the bully, the bully starts crying to his mommy (crying to the media at least). Why do I feel like most people who are on Norman's side and hating on Odell have never played football in their life? I once had a kid ram my facemask with his helmet, jaw got messed up, but kept playing for the rest of the season. I didn't care that I could've gotten hurt, I knew what I was getting into when I started playing this game. Football is a CONTACT sport, so if you keep complaining about a "dirty" move, then just stop watching football. Rules are set for a reason, I understand, but you guys gotta know about a game's culture before you get involved in it, IMO.
But... The rules say you cant face mask... Face masking is a penalty because you could kill some one... You said there are rules for a reason and everything odell and norman did in this game were breaking the rules. You say this is a contact sport but that doesn't mean you could purposely try to break someones fucking neck... Because the point of this video is to show the unsportsmanlike conduct that occurred during the game, not pre game. I included norman's behavior as well, in order to be fair. I combed through the game, and these are ALL the clips where Norman and Beckham were shown committing unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. If you don't believe me, feel free to rewatch the game and provide counter video evidence to prove me wrong.
All the pre game antics were rumors and can't be proved. But as far as the game beckham was much worse as far as antics

To me, this all started with the Odell Beckham, Jr. drop of a sure catch before this. He let Josh Norman's tactics get into his head as well as that drop, and you have to put all that behind you. After that drop, you notice Odell Beckham, Jr. wasn't right in the head after that. Josh Norman just inflamed the situation.

Look closely at the first play. The most noticeable thing that you see is the OBJ "bodyslam" but do you see what he is doing to Norman? Norman is no saint but let's point out the facts. OBJ was already trying to throw shots before the bodyslam but he wanted to act like the victim by throwing his hands up. He did the same thing with Finnegan. This is the same guy who punched a Bills player and tried to run behind his teammates like nothing happened. Like I said no excuses for Norman but just look at the full picture.
