To all of the people who find this annoying or are appalled that these guys are playing music in the subway system let me explain. There are a lot of subway stations all over the city and artists and musicians perform in many of them. It is legal as long as you don't use amplifiers. This is also an incredibly integral part of NYC's music and art scene. People have been doing this for years. Most New Yorker's love this stuff. It's what give the city its character. I'm guessing that a lot of you haven't been to NYC. it's understandable to think that this is crazy because anywhere else in the world it'd be nuts. But it adds something original to the city; and it's incredible exposure for the artists that perform down there.
It's cool to see that 4 years later the only difference is hair style haha! The drummer...man, I want his drum+bell+block+etc+kneepadstand! I really, really do want that!

Michael Quindlen I'm 28 now and have been to NYC every year since age 5 and all I remember about the shitty subways was all the great music I heard.
Michael Quindlen New Orleans is really similar. Music on every corner. Wouldn't be the same city without it.
