@@Bassassinator I played baritone for the high school swing band and for the admiral's band in Coast Guard. Ever try to high port 30 lb's of brass around the quad because some damned flute player screwed up?
This guy's octave jumps to harmonics and growling tone and complete control and mastery of the instrument is unlike any I've seen. I could do most things with a saxophone but this guy is amazing.
I also went to electronics school on Governor's Island when it was a TRACEN for the Coast Guard. I've been to exact location of this and used to drag a B flat soprano around with me. One night I played the blues with a clarinet and banjo player busking outside of a bar in Greenwich Village. It was MUCH fun.
New York City - bad place to send 19-year-olds for electronics training (I did pass but barely) but man am I glad they did. They've since closed the base and relocated the schools there, though. I had too much fun.

@@richardreynolds6398 Man, I was 1st chair Marching, Concert, AND Jazz band Alto for most of school. I was technically “good”, but I knew I would never have a chance at a Sax career.
I only played Bari my senior year because a ton of our low brass section graduated and myself and Jodi Pichoff on the Tuba had to basically carry the bass section! I was the only woodwind with the strength and wind power to get through a half-time show and all four quarters. I had some lungs.
I never got even close to understanding what this man does to that instrument.

The trumpet tone is genuinely the most amazing thing in the world. Basically the sort of volume you'd want for a massive marching band, but played in a tiny band of three people that always performs in enclosed spaces. Yet somehow, with how wrong it should be, it is absolutely perfect.
The last song is absolutely beautiful from Matt Doe!

I have never in my life heard anyone who could make a sax sound like didgeridoo. And was he at some point playing harmonies with himself? And what a solid drum section you have; steady as a locomotive, with the occational spice. And Mr Trumpet: any ol’ jazz player would envy you your ‘flames through that pipe’ (to quote +Presenterbloke).
My favourite, though, is the sax. How often do you see the bass voice playing lead? And I love his dance steps.

I'm a musician (I play bass) and I play in a couple of bands with trumpet players and I know that what the trumpet player is doing is just ridiculously hard. Doing that on any brass instrument is very difficult. He must have biceps on his lips because it takes very, very strong lips and embouchure to do that. The baritone player is incredible too with the growling and singing while playing techniques. Drummer is solid. Keeps a very good beat and has some cool rhythms with the different cow bells. I'd love to jam with these guys.
