    How this guy recovered from the global humiliation and heartbreak of losing his partner is inspirational AND he even got the courage to perform the songs that destroyed him, knowing very well the original vocals would always be attached to it.
    So much respect to him.

      @sha broussard Not their fault, it was their producer, Frank Farian (who, btw, had already pull the same scheme with Boney M), who decided that they would not sing anything on the album and then lyp-synch on live performances, also the real singers behind Milli Vanilli were ok with it. And for their credit Rob and Fab wanted to sing and because they keep insisting on that made Frank expose them.

    • @stephenvachris2170

      Yea they use the same technique today the only difference is they sing over top of there own TRUE VOICE.THERE NOT FAKING IT LIKE THESE IDIOTS!!

    • @TheFlamingPike
      @TheFlamingPike 4 года назад +2

      @sha broussard While I agree with you on some points ( they knew what they were doing ) I think it's just bizarre how you make it sound like you're really angry and adamant about this... Dude, it happened decades ago, it's time to move on and realize that today Fab is singing with his real voice so the "robberies" are over. He paid the price and Rob paid the ultimate price while Farian is STILL laughing all the way to the bank. Imagine being really poor and one day you get the opportunity to become rich. Everybody would take it.
      Farian took these two poor guys basically out of the streets and dressed them up like Ken dolls, he had full leverage over them, he could've told them to do anything and they would've done it because they were desperate to make it in the business. He could have said "Alright, we'll pay some people to teach you how to sing and we'll see each other in 6 months" but no, it was his plan all along - given his past antics with Boney M - and maybe Rob and Fab went with it but to me Farian was like an authority figure in this story and had full control so he is way more responsible for what happened. I wonder if you are so engaged to reply to people on videos talking about Farian or with Farian being interviewed. I highly doubt so. That's the thing with Milli Vanilli haters they never seemed to understand who was the wizard of Oz behind the curtain this whole time.

    • @freakyfornash
      @freakyfornash 5 лет назад +1

      @Izaan ur rehman Fab you obviously meant, but you are right that he had decent vocal talent, albeit not exactly Grammy material like the real singers were though. But I bet he maybe could have been somewhat close to that if they gave him a chance to fine tune, and perfect things at first, but probably would be hard pressed to say the same for Rob however. Even the Rob & Fab album which they both DID actually sing on mainly had Fab doing the lead vocals, while Rob was mainly reduced to rapping, and doing a background voice on it (which he did somewhat okay with to an extent), pretty much.

      How can somebody say that a
      professional dancer was not talented.
      You need rehab.

    • @freakyfornash
      @freakyfornash 5 лет назад

      @Izaan ur rehman And they both were great dancers, which no one can dare deny. But singing still is what mostly makes songs what they are, which they just couldn't cut it with at the time, even if I'm sure they could have been made at least decent if the producer allowed them to train, and fine-tune things with that as time went on. Even then, they still wouldn't have been able to match the golden vocals the real musicians had though.

    • @freakyfornash
      @freakyfornash 5 лет назад

      @Izaan ur rehman And even though Fab has redeemed himself, while proving to be a capable singer in the process, he's also never again going to reach the pinnacle of success, which he had with the Milli Vanilli days, nor will he ever get a crowd of 50,000 people to watch him sing, which he knows too.
