@@FailureRLBrothers it went really well!! I managed to get a grade 8 with 111 marks, although I mainly just did more practice papers instead of watching videos. Also for the first paper, before the gcse I created a piece of creative writing for question 5 and memorised it which helped me so much during the exam.
I'm currently in Year 9 and have gotten 4's for the past year + in year 8, hopefully I can improve with your tips. I'm gonna update this comment if I have improved or not. Update: Last time I got a 4, now I got a 7 with 27/34 lol. Update 2: I'm in year 10 now and I got an 8 with 61/80 on English Language Paper 1, I'm improving steadily lol
He has talked about this before, use context in maybe 2 out of 4 paragraphs because it only gives 6 out of 30 marks so u d9nt need context in every paragraph.

I read somewhere that you shouldn’t make separate paragraphs for extract and the whole text due the examiner not liking since it doesn’t flow and it separates the extract to the whole play and that the examiner like it when you are talking about the play as a whole is this true I’m so confused.
