wow, I'm very excited to test these new plug ins! I've been producing my stuff with the same stock reaper and apple plugins for over 4 years, this is sick, thanks, I'm feeling like a kid with new toys on christmas!
Problem with Guitar Station 2: Hi John, I run Reaper version 7.27 on an actual Linuxmint-System. I would like to use your nice Guitar Station 2. I've installed the Tukan Studio Plugins like you describe in your video. For I couldn't find Guitar Station (???) I selected "Guitar Amp v1.0.3" - hoping that's the Guitar Station - from the list of packages. But as you know of course that's not the right one. I hope you can help. Best regards
When using Reapack, Guitar Station S2 is included in the package "Series 2", it should be there, when you install the package. Maybe try restarting reaper. If it doesn't work keep me informed - if it does too ;)
I get so much input noise when trying to record guitar from anything I try, so I know it’s an issue on my end. I just don’t know what the solution is. Moving my instruments (bass and guitar) further from my audio interface seems to reduce the noise…when I move my mouse it gets louder. A noise gate threshold has to be set high enough to actually affect the attack and sustain on my instruments as well 😢
Maybe you need a DI-Box and/or something about the grounding of the computer/interface is tricky. If your computer can run from battery, you can try doing that and see if it helps.
I really want to try out some of your plugins. When I try and import the repository with copy/paste I get an error message. something about a mismatched element error ID=14.....
What if I error at the installation? several plugins refuse to work..e.g. blue lexican, Tape machine 2.etc. The UI does not show, spectrum jfx error in init 556...whatever. Can you please help?
@@johnmatthews8435 installed both ways, reaper 5.9. Now I've just installed home as well, here works, this is an older PC but has probably better resources. The 'error" came back here too, when installing with reapack, but all the plugins work this time.
I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong here. everything seemed to load fine but no plugs. i got one error message "Could not load RTF document.". I have no idea why if it was a supplied download how anything could be missing.... I rescanned and did all the usual things for fussy plugs but nothing shows up.
Hi! The step are: 1. Installl reapack as shown on their page 2. Import the repository I linked in the description 3. In Reapack: Browse Packages 4. Find the 'Tukan' tagged packages 5. Rightclick - Install 6. Apply (bottom right) 7. Restart reaper The plugins should show up in the plugins browser-window in the JS section (or type "Tukan" in the filter, search in "All plugins"). Did that help? If not: Which point doesn't work? (I'll need more information then...)
Ignore previous comment - i figured out the xml thing. So, here's a problem I found - using Delay Machine, it doesn't work if the Time is greater than 2500ms. Literally, nothing happens - DOA.
OK, so I sat down with it and as near as I can get it it actually fails when Time is > 2750ms. When I set it to the next highest increment (2780ms) is fails. I can't type in a Time value, so I have to turn the knob as subtly as I can, and that was the tightest I could get it on my computer. So, yeah, over 2750ms, Delay Machine stops delaying things.
Don't want to make more work for you - so this is a feature request: where ever there is a data number or value in your interfaces, if they could be clicked or right clicked on and given precise values from the keyboard that would be fabulous. LOVE LOVE LOVE your stuff so far. Diggin' it. Cheers!
I got no "Extensions" toolbar in menu even though a week ago or so it was there. I updated Reaper, might it be the issue? I made sure that file reaper_reapack-arm64 is in the correct folder, but it doesn't help.
@@johnmatthews8435 thank you. As I said, I placed reaper_reapack-arm64 file in the correct folder. Thank you for your reply. Every time I try, I get a window that says “This file cannot be downloaded because it may cause harm to your computor”. I figured out my problem !! Well, I paid my computor guy to help me, but he closed my malware protection and dropped the firewall long enuf so the files poured on in and finished loading. Then he put my virus protection back, and then he copied the file and then paisted it in the right place. Not sure where that was, after all the windows I’ve seen trying to do this for 3 days. I think it was the user registry. I had been trying to drag and drop the file that had only partially downloaded. Now I have a use for the rest of your videos about TUKAN !!!

Hello, do these work on Linux?
With reaper yes.
thank you sir
Can we use on other DAW?
On Windows you could try the VST ReaJS to load the plugins. I didn't test it.
Not compatible with Reaper, oh well. It says, the download is dangerous. Forget that noise.
I wonder, would they work on linux?
Yes, they work. JSFX is a language directly interpreted by Reaper. As long as you run Reaper, you're fine. :)
