Is the Redmi BETTER in your opinion?
Samsung is better in my opinion.
Is the Galaxy A55 made in which country?
@@chizuruobioma9415Almost everything is made in China these days. The days of China = 100% baaaaaad are long over.
No Samsung better and consistent
The Redmi is definitely way better. Ignore the biased Samsung Stans.
Redmi is obviously better
In my opinion, the redmi is better value for money. For long-term use and updates, Samsung is the choice.
Yea redmi give you more in that price range but if you loock for best and have money for s series you shoul go fo samsung

i have the redmi and I really like it. xiaomi confirmed for Europe updates until Android 16 und security updates until January 2028.
My 13pro + with 512gb of storage and 12+6 ram and also with Xiaomi band 8 as gift say Samsung is no match on value, all for 320GBP I also know it will get better as Hyper OS matures.
if compare to redmi note 13 pro (not plus), the snapdragon 7 gen2 and price to performance ratio completely destroy A55.
@@rdevil25wth I'm looking to purchase 13 pro+ and i have a smart band 8 pro it's literally same❤
Ur mad underrated bro i love how you cover all the important details including benchmarks, keep it up
Thanks a ton. Means a lot. 🙏
The more videos I see the more I like the Samsung A55
Check out the comparison with A35
As a long-time Redmi user, I think I'll go with Galaxy A55 this time. Redmi's 125W charging and 200px camera are pretty cool indeed, but A55's SD slot, longer OS support and overall design balance it out for me. Thanks for helping me choose!
Not to mention like 30% more battery life on the A55.
I concur the Redmi is nice but the design and SD slot won me over 👍
The vegel of samsung a55 is so thick..
Redmi has 512gb version i thnik you dont have a need for sd card, and bezels on a55 are thiccc
But will you need an sd card when you already have a 512GB storage? And the Redmi will support software updates for the next 4 years. MrWhooseboss confirmed
This is the review I wanted to see. Had a samsung a long time ago, was crappy. Afterwards switched to redmi note 8 and afterwards to poco x3 i use to this day so quite looking forward to the end of the video.
I went with the Note Pro+ I was looking for a phone with a good camera and it's also a pretty great gaming phone, I can max out big games like Black Desert Online no problem and it don't really impact my battery life, and I usually only charge once a day of full use. This one fits me and I have no regrets.
In my experience bought chinese phone a few times and always easly broke (either the hardware or the software or both) i can confidently say that Samsung is just better bcuz its more stable even tho they always need a few quick patch update to fix some problem after launched.
Don't get baited with chinese phone "better" spec, bcuz thats how they trap people to buy it. It just good on paper, but in everyday practical use, chinese phone doesn't last long.
Very true indeed.. I used a REDMI NOTE 11 series and it was the worst decision in my life..
I have my redmi note 10 pro and I have it 2 and half years and work perfectly
@@DANIELCHUKWUKERE same it just stopped working after 1 year, I got the a55 now
@@nikolastojkovic9781 You cannot do anything about biased fanboys, Truth is I chose the redmi note 11 over samsung galaxy A32 and the note 11 is great apart from its camera. The build, design, updates hand feel weight, 33watts charging, punch hole display, 1080p amoled, 90 hz refresh rate and many other things are amazing for its price. I do have to say that one UI is slightly but just slightly better than miUI and the cameras are better but the thought of xiaomi or redmi phones being Chinese makes them bad is totally incorrect. I have a xiaomi 11 lite 5g ne too which for the price is so much better than any brand in the same category.
Xiaomi is now right up there with the big brands and offers better value for your buck, simple and obvious for people who are objective.
i still use my redmi note 9 pro since 2020
Redmi need to learn how to manage their smartphone heat management.. it is nlt about throwing specs but most times it simpler things that matters.
Many thanks for doing this video. I was torn between the phones and didn't know which one to get but I'm definitely going with the Redmi now.
My mom used to have a galaxy s6 edge and the curved screen cracked when she used a clip on mount for a tripod that's I prefer these newer flat displays
U just earned a new follower
Please can you make a comparison for the OS on both phones?
Nice Comparison Bro ❤
Xiaomi all the way. Better options especially when it comes to the chipsets used.
I heavily agree, I also personally really dislike samsung's oneui android skin and i prefer xiaomis hyperos aswell
redmi for tight budget
and badly needed 120w charger
but for a lil more $ - the a55 is worth it
Samsung ui is topnotch classy, intuitive and with TIMELY updates (4 OS + 5 yrs security updates)
camera is decent for its class
build - better glass and alloy frame
+ esim or SD card slot option
wait during major sale for greater bang for the buck value👍
How do these 2 phones compare with the Honor X9b mid ranger ?
I love Ur presentations top notch.
Fantastic job ❤
For me, having a wider screen is very important for typing experience and watching video. So, it is A55 all the way. In fact, I am watching this video from A55.
Oh, I can also make A55 emulate iphone experience as close as possible with keys cafe and arranging my home screen ios style. I wont be able to get close to ios style keyboard with Xiaomi.
Between a Galaxy A55 and the regular Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G I'm interested who takes a more sharper, more natural-looking photos, better audio in video recording, better performance in general, better battery life and better speakers? Need your opinion please. Thanks .
Samsung microphone 🎤 is better
The main reason the A series is popular is because of the SD Card slot. Everything else is pretty meh. The Redmi doesn't have that, so it's an easy choose.
the Redmi has 512GB
the sd slot has no need
@@Adlibitum92 So what if the phone breaks and you can't access the data?
@@jessquiatchon2204there's cloud storage
@@Adlibitum92 I don't understand people who thinks 512g is a lot of space or enough. My music collection of mp3 is about 100g, My photos and videos that I want to put in my phones is more. My ROMs collection is 2T. I still take photos and videos on the side too. The higher/flag ship phones can do even more.
I would take the Galaxy with the design of the redmi
The A35 is amazing aswell
5:03 Dimensity 7200 Ultra, not Helio 7200 Ultra.
The guy has choked me 😂😂😂
The Redmi is just the better phone. I won't recommend the Exynos chip (Samsung) if you are a hard core gamer. Samsung has not yet improved the overall performance of the exynos chip, it still performs as bad as the previous exynos chips.
120w fast charging vs 25w 😅
Redmi have better Performance and Hardware , better camera , better screen, better battery, and he come with 120 w charger in the box
I bought Xiaomi and it lasted longer than all my Samsung phones. Samsung does feel smoother but only in the beginning and eventually goes to shit. Xiaomi on the other hand feels ok but it's just constantly improving and getting better and it last way longer than any Samsung I have. Iphone I'm not gonna even talk about because they are just money hungry.
@@donotfuckaroundyou're tripping. Samsung overall has much better sustainability long-term, including software updates One UI (which is more reliable and easier to use). For the past 10 years I've been using Samsung flagship line-up devices and never experienced any sort of miss consumption or *lag*. If you've bought a budget Samsung for less than a 200 squids, doesn't mean you can make an argument that Samsung is shit. Be more open minded.
@@hopeforlight3547 Its the opposite for me. I've been a galaxy user for a long time starting with my first smartphone the galaxy s2 way back in 2011. After that i had the s3 and then s4 that's when i started having problems with their batteries. My s4 battery swelled just after year, so i replaced that with the S5, even that battery dropped just after a year. In 2017 I got A9 and also bought J7 Max for my mom. Oh!! I also bought VIVO V3 MAX for my wife. And that was the 1st "Chinese" phone in my family. She had to choose that coz it came with bundled VR goggles🤣🤣🤣🤣. Both the A9 and the J7 Max also had battery problems after a year or so. Got the battery replaced, lasted for a few more months then failed again. Got the S9 in 2019 sim tray issues first and then same battery issues again only after a year. And in the middle of 2020 when i was looking for a new galaxy phone I realised something. Why is my wife's chinese phone charged so much faster than all my expensive galaxy phones and how did she never have any issues with her phones for the last 3 years while i was busy changing my phones or running to the service centres. That's when i first gave a "Chinese" phone a try, the Realme X50 Pro!!! SD 865 with 8GB RAM..There's nothing WOW about it, but this phone just won't let go, yeah it's battery has also been battered with continous PUBG and all. Even now in 2024 i'm still using it as my secondary phone. No issues whatsoever..Oh!! BTW the VIVO V3 MAX which was bought in 2017 still works like a champ, although software support ended several years ago, it's still good enough for my Kid's youtube....
Pls help me choose to buy now am confused guys redmi or Samsung a55 pls
I'm done with Xiaomi/Poco phones. I want to buy different brand with cleaner OS
Hello Oscar, in light of these phones, do you think the s21 ultra is better to buy or not?
If software updates aren't a priority for you, I'd get the s21 Ultra 100%
On paper the xiaomi is better in every aspect but in reality it's build quality, software and long-term support is horrible. If you want a phone that will last for more than 1.5 years, get the A55
This would have been a perfect comparison video if you included the new Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G 😢
Good job 👍 subscribed 👍
Samsing network signal is way better. Choose smartphone with better signal reception
Another thing to consider is the Samsung uses a lithium-ion battery while the redmi uses a lithium polymer... That's unfortunate as the polymer battery wears out faster over time and doesn't last as long under normal use conditions over time as well.. A bit of a deal-breaker for me
You should probably do speaker test next time💯
Well said Chukwukaebujio.
I'm using samsung galaxy a55. Love this phone!
Does it overheat?
@@Mosestylez no it doesn't
Samsung is just better, it gives a better experience. Kind of like Apple, not the best hardware but a amazing experience.
Have you even used this particular redmi?
Lol CAP. BIG CAP.
@@dinfak7939note 12 pro user here. The software experience is really bad. The phone even hangs!!!
@dinfak7939 redmi has been garbage since android 10 and it has gotten worse with years. Right now, I do not recommend this brand as redmi has also become expensive. RUclips is a pain in the ass and somehow, I have to rely on chrome instead because of the endless buffering.
Honor, Samsung and oppo are my favourite brands as they cost less
Agree. My redmi note 10 experiences random restarts. Like when I'm scrolling in tiktok or casual gaming, it just restarts on its own. There's no overheating happening. Maybe Xiaomi's hardware are better but the quality goes to samsung. Not to mention my redmi phone only got 2 major updates. My samsung A22 5g is still almost 70 to 80 percent it's performance compared to when I bought it new. While my redmi drops to 30 to 80 percent the performance.
I really wanted to buy that redmi but i was thrown off by that curved screen. Thats a big thumbs down for me
And I’m buying the phone particularly for the curved screen. Different strokes for different folks I guess 🤷♂️
I'm using the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ right now and the curved screen looks and feels extremely nice. You'd be surprised. But I also just got myself a Samsung A55 for fun
Which is better overall as per you?@@Xalphire
@@stefanrichard01 That curved screen will break like biscuits
@@abhaybhatt @Xalphire without a doubt prefers the Samsung, chinese phones will frustrate you in 2 years.. They tend to abandon software support for their old products very quickly as soon as they release a new product and trust me, It doesnt matter how expensive the price of that product is.. I will never use a xiaomi phone again. Lol
Good
The benchmark scores seems wrong, especially geekbench because this would make my a54 more powerful on multi core

There is a very big problem with your samsung unit. Other reviewers' units are scoring way higher in multiple core tests in geek bench and antutu.
I don't know if it's because for them the have the 256gb version.
Which one of them doesn't reload the web browser (any) when sent to the background, and how many apps can you move around with before it does reload? My LG started reloading browsers as I installed newer Android version updates. 😂
Samsung obviously, one ui,Software support, good security and good battery life....Redmi is nice but the ui and support is bad
Exynos: hold my lag😂
@@ahmarali8588nope the exynos 1480 is better now
@ahmarali8588 not this time. Exynos 1480 VERY good processor, both in terms of power and stability, and in terms of energy efficiency. Also it doesn't have any problem with heating
It seems people who don't use redmi know much about the redmi than we the users
if long term use, always go with samsung
if long term use don't go with any of them and just buy an iphone instead man, samsung's a series slow down so much after multiple software updates, experienced that huge slow down with 2 a series one being an a22 and one an a53.
Meh i dont trust the redmi no more, it literally started to lag like crazy after 6 months, glad i have the a55 now

If you want a better chinese phone, go for honor. Redmi sure does have better specs and all but specs isnt everything.
Redmi flash light?
Nice phone
It feels like people in the comment section talking about the Samsung "experience" conveniently forgot about the horrors of the Exynos in A54 and others 🙄
What happened with a54? Genuinely asking
Please a15 vs a24. What is better ? They are really similar
They are both kinda same but the a15 has more software and security updates.
Theyre the same price so get the a15 cuz u get one more year of software support
But the Redmi has 520gb rom! Why need external memory?
The clear winner here is camon 30pro5g
Exactly what I said, it would have been a perfect comparison if he included the new Tecno Camon
Is it better than both of them in all or most ramifications!?
What about the ui? I never used a techno phone but how y'all feel about their UI?
Tecno is the ultimate garbage of all chinese phones.. please dont be ridiculous... Redmi has a far superior package than TECNO.. If I had a gun pointed to my head to choose only one chinese smartphone in the world and use for the rest of my life, I would choose REDMI. It is tolerable
@@polightshakka304 Don't ever use a TECNO phone please, you will regret it.
The Samsung does not have wireless and reverse wireless charging.
I have redmi note 13 pro + , the only only problem i have is battery life, it's so disappointing, drains very very fast. If an update could fix it the phones one of the best.
Charge too fast also. Nothing is perfect. The Redmi is cool. I have it ❤
Battery on my 13 pro+ is insane, lasts around 14 hours screen on time. Idk what you've done to yours or if you have 30 hour sot expectations
Heyy, just to tell you, if you recently updated to the new HyperOS android skin from xiaomi, it'll take about 2 weeks of worse battery life bc it will be learning how u use your phone to know how to change the optimization for battery life, give it some time and the battery life should improve, also you can expect later bug patches and optimization patches that will really smoothen up the experience, hope this helped.
Samsung forever ❤🎉😅
My opinion - Comparing the Samsung brand vs Redmi is Blasphemous.
What are the Redmi Note photos like with moving objects? I've seen the Samsung blur images of movement.
We all know that if a china brand phone says it has 200mp camera, it is not really a 200mp camera.
Would you pick any of these over an iphone 12 pro max?
I'm at a crossroads now
I have iphone 12 pro max , and i used Samsung A54 as my work phone. Let me tell you ,standby mode is much better on iphone for battery saving. Better video etc. But overall i enjoy androids more. Easier to download and install stuff (since on ios you cant really install 3rd party apps etc unless you do some shenenigans ...)
But if you want a powerful phone and you dont care about battery much then ip 12 pro max is great.
But this redmi note 13 pro + charges in 20 mins.
I also used Motorola Edge 30 ultra. That charging speed makes life easy if you use phone a lot.
If theres something specific you wanna know ask me... everyone uses phone differently , i use snapchat and discord the most if we are talking about private phone
