So here I am watching this on my Note 10 Pro. I saw the 11 series, 12 series now the 13 series and seems that I will still keep my Note 10 Pro for another Gen Skip. Just an FYI the reason why we have ip68 on budget phones is specifically because waterproofing headphone jacks takes very complex electrical engineering to prevent a short.
From the Galaxy S7 to the Galaxy S10 all Galaxy S had an headphone jack with ip68 water resistance. No excuse it's just that some with small budget don't want to spend more for a headphone jack. They just don't care it's not much more money spend for waterproofing they just don't care because all these companies without headphlne jacks also sell wireless earphones. Usually only budget users or audiophiles need a headphone jack nowadays

In my opinion go for a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. You'll also receive a screen protector, phone case and fast charger, included with your purchase (which you will probably not get included with a Samsung purchase).
Been using the Pro Plus version for about a month. I'd say it's a mixed bag, but that's coming from someone who got the phone from China with some sort of Frankenstein hybrid of the Chinese and global MIUI 14. (Basically the base is the Chinese version and then they unlocked the bootloader and slapped most features of the global version on there while removing most of the Chinese stuff. This lead to some very unsavory results like GMail not being able to download attachments, Google Drive crashing when downloading files and, worst of all, the phone not being eligible to receive the HyperOS update due to the unlocked bootloader.) The hardware is great, it feels pretty heavy, the camera kicks ass and actually has some decent color filters built in. I didn't think I'd like it, but the curved screen feels and looks very nice. Selfie cam is a bit whatever but still almost as good as my previous phone's main camera (upgraded from a 2017 Moto G6 Plus). I also opted for the all black back panel as I found the color choice of the faux leather kinda hideous. Black looks very nice though. Either way, it also came with a black plastic case so it's always protected and you can't really see the backside. So yeah, all in all I wanna love this phone because on paper it does a lot right. However, MIUI (compared to stock Android) is just not it, even if it wasn't for all the unneccessary bugs in my case. Currently trying to return the phone and start the whole research process all over again to find something better at a reasonable price.
I had just written a lengthy reply on my phone and then accidentally closed the comment window and it was all gone 😭 Here we go again... You're welcome! I don't know anything about the A35, so I can't answer that question. The Redmi Note 13 (Pro +) is a pretty sweet device if you get it with the proper, official OS for your region. All the positive things I listed still hold true. Since writing my original comment, I have upgraded to a Google Pixel 8 Pro and while it's clearly a superior device in almost every regard (expect internal storage and RAM), Google isn't really any better than Xiaomi or other companies when it comes to bloat ware and pushing their own services in your face. While MIUI may come with TikTok, various games etc. preinstalled, the Pixel 8 is loaded with Google's entire ecosystem whether it's useful or not. Stuff like Google Meet, RUclips Music, Google Home or Google Watch definitely aren't "every person might need this"-types of apps like Google Maps or Gmail are, so including them on the system and sometimes even making it impossible to uninstall them is no better than what Xiaomi or Samsung are doing. So in that regard, "stock" Android doesn't even feel that different from MIUI. Google apps may feel cleaner than whatever ad-infested crap Xiaomi puts on their phones, but while Google may not harrass you with popups to buy the latest Temu garbage, they will gladly "spy" on every aspect of your life and take that data as payment instead. Long story short: I have to dial back on the hate for MIUI from a previous comment. So if that made you stop considering getting the Note 13, I hope I was able to get it back to a more neutral ground. Just, again, do not go for some back-alley moonshine proprietary blend MIUI that came out of some tech farm in China.
The only sad thing is that i returned the redmi note 13 pro+ 5g, there were some slows, some bugs on the software side and this things made me sad, this things were not present on the redmi note 11 pro+ 5g :(, i know it's a xiaomi and they well are not awarded prestige on the software side but it's the 13 phone..gezus...
I've got a Google Pixel 7 and I'm not impressed with it tbh. I'm thinking about the redmi 13 pro + 5g... What would go with? Pixel 7 or the 13 pro+ 5g?
I could attest that Redmi phones are durable. I accidentally dropped my RN 10 5G in the toilet covered with poop and all. I just washed it and let it dry for a few hours. Surprisingly, the phone still works perfectly. I already upgraded to RN 13 Pro + and I love it.
Redmi note 13 pro 5G is best in my opinion, you get good phone for it's price, you don't need pro plus because it's just a waste of money, normal pro will do almost as fine. It also has a better design and maybe a slightly better camera

I think they deliberately leave the expandable storage off so u have to pay for cloud storage
How well does Redmi note 11 hold up battery after 2years?
Nice video bro watching on my Poco X5 pro😍😍😍😍 plzz add Antutu benchmark scores of these gorgeous beauties 😍😍
Hi there, I have been thinking to buy a new phone. Which do u think is the most suggested? Regular Samsung galaxy s23 or redmi note 13 pro plus?
This lead to some very unsavory results like GMail not being able to download attachments, Google Drive crashing when downloading files and, worst of all, the phone not being eligible to receive the HyperOS update due to the unlocked bootloader.)
The hardware is great, it feels pretty heavy, the camera kicks ass and actually has some decent color filters built in.
I had just written a lengthy reply on my phone and then accidentally closed the comment window and it was all gone 😭
Here we go again...
Is the pro + frame made of metal ?
So only the regular that can use SD card ??
Is there a link where to buy these phones in the US or can I use the international link to buy the phones and they should work here?
Hard to follow. Very confusing especially when you don't use graphics. Which is which?
The only sad thing is that i returned the redmi note 13 pro+ 5g, there were some slows, some bugs on the software side and this things made me sad, this things were not present on the redmi note 11 pro+ 5g :(, i know it's a xiaomi and they well are not awarded prestige on the software side but it's the 13 phone..gezus...
Nice comparison!
can all these three models use a same case ?
Thanks for this review
Just wondering but what do you do with all these phones? Do you sell them after or just keep them all?
They send them back to the companies after they are done with the reviews.
Does the UK 13 pro plus in purple come with the fake leather back?
Thank you for the very informative review
I've got a Google Pixel 7 and I'm not impressed with it tbh. I'm thinking about the redmi 13 pro + 5g...
What would go with? Pixel 7 or the 13 pro+ 5g?
Where did you get that wallpaper
been using Redmi note 10 pro since last two years
13 pro has potentials so guess I'm switching to it
I heard the wifi on the 13 pro would be slow? Is that true? Thanks
thumbs up for wallpaper link please 😄
I could attest that Redmi phones are durable. I accidentally dropped my RN 10 5G in the toilet covered with poop and all. I just washed it and let it dry for a few hours. Surprisingly, the phone still works perfectly. I already upgraded to RN 13 Pro + and I love it.
Redmi note 13 pro 5G is best in my opinion, you get good phone for it's price, you don't need pro plus because it's just a waste of money, normal pro will do almost as fine. It also has a better design and maybe a slightly better camera
Ip68 in + 5G
Incredible how many small nuances they made between those phones in this cheap price point. Hardware and software.
Incredible how that us worth the money amd the effort.
Just complicates logistics...
I think the Note 13 pro 5G is the good choice for budget qnd Specific also
where do you download your wallpapers?
