I prefer the pro 5g because of the flat screen & the 3.5 jack
and in everything thing else they're very close
I travel a lot, so for me a more resistant phone (IP68 and GG Victus) and the faster charge made me go for the plus version.

been a happy user of the 13 Pro 5G for about 6months. most of time spent on productivity tools and audio conference at home and when commuting. zero gaming and hardly watch movies. battery life is fantastic.
no wireless charging
heard about NFC availability only for certain regions. mine has no problems with contactless/wireless google pay. good to check the region/version that you are buying because i can understand no wireless payment capability via the mobile phone can be a pain these days.
Headphone jack and square design id go for the pro😊

You can't really have a headphone jack on a waterproof phone
It's not waterproof it's water resistance. The plus model will still get mess up if it's soaked for too long
Sony has those on the Xperia Z series 10 years ago.
The problem is that they got you to believe that was true. Samsung had IP68-rated phones with a headphone jack back in 2015
tell me you never had a galaxy phone without telling me, they were all waterproof and with a headphone jack from the galaxy S7 to the S10

The camera are different in tests.
That's not right, the sensors may be the same but something is different. I tested both devices side by side in a store and on the pro 5g model, the colors where more saturated and on the plus model they where like washed out. I can't say why.

I'm on Costa Rica and Sales Rep at the official Xiaomi store said they sold out immediately the first week. even though they are a flagship store like Apple in America. He said he didnt know or think they'd get more. tjey have plenty of the Pro and T version. My biggest concern is the image stabalizer because sometimes my hands shake due to health issues. any other suggestions on good image stabilizer? Until I saw in persoj none of them has 2x option in portrait mode and they all take only wide angle portraits.

It's a silly thing to miss but makes the phone very much less usable as a camera phone.
