      my interpretation is quite opposite to Scott's: drummers can easily assemble this stand even after 4 beers, the rest need to focus a little more.

    That looks like a great stand, Scott. My only suggestion to Liquid Stand would be to have the foam strips be already installed on the top of the stand and to be longer or to be the whole length of the arm, if possible.
    That way there is one less step and the keyboard will be even more secure on the stand.
    (now of course, if the arms on top are adjustable, then having shorter foam strips that the user has to install makes more sense, that means more flexibility with deciding how long you want the arms to be, which means you can have bigger or smaller keyboards on the stand depending on the length of the arms)

    • @liquidstands
      @liquidstands 5 месяцев назад +1

      We're already on it! ALL of our new stands will have foam pads that run the full length of the top arms. They won't be pre-installed but they will cover the full length. We did this just a few months ago (not quite available on all items yet) and appreciate the feedback!

    Thank you, Scott, Liquid Stands are top. I know the owner; they are located in FL all made in the USA. I have more than 15 stands from them including their new shelves and speaker stand mounts in my studio. My only issue with all the stands is the attachment knobs on the sides. The threads (bolt) need to be longer. I had addressed this issue to the owner "Mi** and they are thinking about making them longer.
    The heaviest synthesizer I own is my DK Synergy II +. It's massive and a very rare synth and I trust it on my Liquid Stand. On my second tier is my Ensoniq ASR-10. Quality build and a company that really does one thing well. They build stands for Keyboardists. They are a young company and growing. Thanks, Scott, for this introduction to Liquid Stands!

      Is this Liquid Stands in Odessa, FL?

    I have a couple of Liquid stand keyboard stands. I think these are some of the best stands for the price. Only criticism is the spring-loaded knobs on the middle bar strip over years of use. They strip at the knob. I learned not to tighten them too tight and it’s all good. My favorite feature is that they fit close to the wall and the middle bars are set back so your legs fit under the stand. Great quality and form factor. Love mine! Strong recommendation to buy.

    curious how the security straps attach to a keyboard. a lightweight synth like System 8 will bounce and slide around on the second tier. does the keyboard need holes drilled in the bottom? you also tie it down velcro strips or gaffer tape.

    • @ScottsSynthStuff
      @ScottsSynthStuff  5 месяцев назад

      There are some synths that have little knobs on them that the straps engage. Personally, I use velcro strips.

      Yes. I feel some guilt about this. In one of the previous videos, partly out of concern for Scott, and maybe partly out of jealousy, I asked him to be careful and not to get his hair caught in the propeller, and then Scott cut his hair. And now he's explaining himself for the film from the plane. We like planes! Any synthuber can write a review while bungie jumping, but I don't know anyone who could do it while piloting a plane. It was much more interesting than another home studio stuffed with equipment.

    stopped watching at the height measurement. If i can't get 2 stacks with the lower being 36" I wouldn't want it. That's what I have with my ultimate support stand.
    32" on highest setting would only be good for someone who is 5' tall.
