God the Tsukuyomi theme is so good. And that thing about the game not telling you he has Diarama, just like Lucifer who has like, 5 or 6 extra skills that game just hides from you, which is bold af.
He only uses Diarama if you don’t manage to find his real body amidst the false clones, which is almost never because you would be wise enough to use a Fire Shard / Maragidyne like in this case
I'm really starting to appreciate low level runs since I think this is the first time I actually got to see this fight last more than a few moments because I overprepped for Shiva. These Nahobino fights are also really damn cool, makes me wish we spent more time with them in the main game before now.
Same, I literally didn't get to see his signature attack on my first playthrough since I was determined to get True Neutral first and sadly doing so means the average player will outlevel everything post Shiva.
Maybe it's because I first watched this fight first in a challenge run; it didn't quite click that Aogami was fighting his brother. It wasn't until I found a sort of AU fanfict on AO3. Yeah, that truly helped me understand that it had to be this way. Oh, and as much I love how fierce the Nahobino looks during Murakumo, the finishing blow was extra amazing!
Yes, the amount of freedom of customization in both your build and the freedom to basically use whatever demon you want by endgame makes it so worth it gameplay wise. I got to endgame with a team of just "Jacks", like Pryo Jack, Jack Frost, King Frost, etc, and at no point did I feel like I was grasping as straws to do so. TLDR, gameplay alone, yes. The story honestly is weak and I ignore it after my first run
Which composer do you like more: Kozuka or Meguro? And which ost is better, from SMT IV, SMT V or Nocturne? Just wondering. And good luck with Demi-Fiend, really looking forward to.
Kozuka’s OST is designed to match the tone and environment. Meguro’s does that at the beginning of the game but as the soundtrack gets reused more and more the tone connection gets lost. The exception to this is the Third Semester in Royal with exclusive soundtracks composed specifically around the story.
I know this isn't a option you gave, but I really like DDS OST a lot. I don't really have a favorite composer, however I can vibe with most of the battle OST from any SMT game. Also thanks for the good luck wishes, I'm gonna need it! Lol

Tsukuyomi's theme screams "omnipotent god and brother of the mortal's ally"!
It sooooooo bad we can't have this guy on our team!!!!!
is this game worth playing even if the story is not that great
