Can you use the metalizer directly on the wheels? I have matte bronze wheels and I'm really curious about how it would look.
try making like a harley davidson orange or a bright orange that shifts to kind of a darker orange. also would you be able to spray ghost flames?
Would the effect be different if there was a black/white base coat before starting with the gold?

I would love to do this to my car the only problem for me is I don’t have a garage unfortunately so I’m worried about dust getting on the paint in between the drying of the coats.

i dipped my rims just like this video, the lug nuts got dipped as well. but once i need to take the tire off and take off the lug nuts the dipped layer comes off with the breaker bar soooo do you guys just leave it chrome afterwards or repaint them again? im just curious

Doing it like this you will have alot of plasti dip in the inner wheel. It sucks peeling it off with the wheel on.

covering the wheel nuts is a no no for me. when i did it and had to take the wheel off, the dip was all scratched up on the wheel nut
What’s the cleanest way to remove overspray from the center cap?
MalMantis the center cap gets coated just like the rest of the wheel face. When you finish the project, you simply peel the dip off the center cap!

How do you take the middle part out and when I just got my tire kit and I never see a detailed part on when and how you do that. My wife’s truck has the ford emblem in the middle I’d like to keep in covered but don’t wanna screw it up.

One kit properly covers all 4 wheels (up to 21")

Let's say a guy wants to paint just the wheel but not the lip, how would you go about peeling a masked section so it doesn't peel up?

I use this stuff all the time but still dont understand why you leave the wheel on when your doing this. .. it's so much easier to do a job like this when the wheel is off.
It's all down to personal preference. Not everyone wants to or is able to remove the wheels from the car. Either way you do it, as long as you're happy with the end results that's all that matters. Thanks for watching!

@@dipyourcar great videos and totally understand i have used your kits in the past ...and find you can lay a much more even coat down and be more Consistent in a layers when the wheel is level (flat on the ground or work table)
You and I have done tons of wheels and cars but for the average person plasti dip can be tricky for a person who has never painted before
