The houses opposite the cricket field are built on the site of an old farm. We live in The Blacksmiths Barn, there’s The Haybarn and The Stables plus a couple of others 👍
Great video. A few points that you missed. There are tennis courts at the football fields, which are free of charge. The village hall was known as the social centre for many years, and some still refer to it as that. The old George and dragon pub became the Simply Indian for a few years but has now been converted into 2 flats. The airfield memorial garden is worth a visit. The village used to have a post office, opposite the George and Dragon, but this was converted into a house in around 2005. There is generally a bonfire at the cricket club annually just after bonfire night, and an annual fun day in July. The bowling club enters a local league. The village currently has 2 adult football teams and is in the process of setting up a junior team. At the other end of village nearer to Snaith is another area known as Pollington camp.
Yes correct. I explained this on Facebook because it was mentioned by literally everyone. The website I use shows Pollington to be split between the two dialling codes with the line running through the playing field. I've come to the conclusion that website is wrong, because everyone that's mentioned it has an 01405 code, and they're from everywhere in the village. I'll make a special section in the Parish Noticeboard this week to show why this came about, but yes correct, it is ALL 01405. Thank you! :D
Haven't been there since I was 6. Live in New Zealand now. This brings back some memories
Glad I've done that Ben! Awesome news :D

100% using that lot Lynn. FAB info, thank you!
The "Indian Restaurant " mentioned has NOT been a Restaurant for about five years. Has been converted into a private residence. NOW for sale.
Yes, the info I found online much outdated, but no fear, these things happen and that's why I have roundup videos :D
Dialling code for Pollington is not 01302 it is a Goole area code of 01405!
