But the problem that the people speaking Hindi do not understand is that they can also use the same technology to translate the South Indian Regional Languages or even learn them. I have a simple suggestion. We all know that Hindi is taught in Southern India in schools at a very young age along with their regional mother tongues and English. So why don't the government do the same thing in North India; teach Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil to Northern India. Make India a true multilingual country where most of the population can read, write and understand in any given regional languages. As a matter of fact, Hindi is nothing but a regional language, just like all the other different languages spoken in India. If Hindi is taught to Southern India, the Southern Languages should also be taught to Northern India. One calculation, North Indian hindi speaking people population is 60 C , literacy rate in hindi speaking states is around 70%.that means 30% of native hindi speaker are not read and write hindi, 60c ×30% means 18 C people. Here south Indian population is only 25 C. first of all you will be educated hindi to the native hindi speaker.

My opinion, every kids learn mother tongue with English in primary and secondary school each year one additional language try to learn like 6th std kannada, 7th std telugu, 8th std tamil 9th std malayalam and Higher secondary foreign language add to learn.
