20 years ago I paid $50 dollars for a stop smoking seminar. I had just finished reading Alan Carr’s book, Easy way to stop smoking. It was a 1-2 knockout punch to my two plus pack a day smoking habit. People can laugh but my kids never saw their Dad smoke. Best money I ever spent.

@@frankiesmith5638 The book really is what did it for me. I stumbled across mine at a bookstore back then. I think online now would be your best bet.
Also back then there were ads in the Sunday paper for the 50 dollar seminars to lose weight/ quit smoking. I would have no idea if they still do them.

@frankiesmith5638 I was an alcoholic for 20 years. Read The Alan Carr book first, made sense, but it was the seminar which made me quit. Just over 5 years ago I went. Didn't feel any different when I came out....until I went to buy a drink, realised I didn't want it. Been through some really tough times including losing my mum since. Not at 1 point have I even thought of having a drink. Amazing how it works, no will power required as I just have no interest in drinking since. My Dad used it for smoking over 30 years ago, and it worked exactly the same for him. Look up online, they're usually on in London. They offer a money back guarantee....it really is that good. Will be the best money you ever spend. 👍

You know what man, my biggest hurdle at the moment is allowing people to be where they are without it upsetting me. In general sense, I can allow but deep inside I feel resentful towards people closer to me vs strangers making same mistakes EVEN THOUGH I've done it and do it too and am aware of that. It's an "error in my thoughts" I think is how the Jon Connolly would say lol but I don't want to give up on learning how to help people because before some stuff happened in my life I was so passionate about it even though I didn't know how I'd might do it, but the last year turned me away from it and it didn't set well, so here I am with both my hands out to fucking get this shit in a pretty bow 😂 I'm liking these hypnotherapists with such efficient methods and mindsets. It makes me feel I can thrive as an intelligent being who overcomes..like the octopus 🐙 ..you got have human and nonhuman inspiration. This comment is long I'm sorry.

The technique is simple: imagine something ugly in your visualilzation session, while in hypnotic/meditative state. Visualize that you are actually inhaling something ugly while 'sm/o/ing'. I used "snakes". I visualized that my cig**** turned into a snake which was biting me, entering in my throat as I attempt to smo/ke.....etc. I hope you got the idea.

I could barely understand most of it when sober, but I'd like to reassure myself that I can feel what he's saying to just get most of it. Theres also another guy that rants very similar to him that I used to listen to a lot, but I can't even think of his name right now. Insomnia? I have had it before and this is what I have learned and discovered. Avoid blue light and led light(screen time?) Honor your circadian cycle get early morning sunlight. High histamine can drive insomnia and mold exposure as well as certain foods or other exposures can drive histamine(got the DAO enzyme?). Magnesium glycinate and or Epsom salt baths. The herb Kava kava. B vitamins can help with stress(some get insomnia with B6 or vit D.) Get plenty of exercise during the day time ending 2-3hrs prior to bed time.

      "Singing the Truth for You
      We are Dafa disciples
The suppression is to confuse you
Covering up the truth is the real intent
The cosmic bodies face disaster, they’re crumbling, becoming empty at the end times
The Creator saves all beings, creates the new cosmos, atones for people’s sins
Most people are Gods incarnated, waiting for Him to save and to eliminate disaster
Atheism and the theory of evolution are indoctrinating with poison
Modern notions and conduct can cause people to lose their humanity
You made vows before descending to the earth, it’s only that you’ve become worldly
I wish my songs would help recover your righteous thoughts
Zhen-Shan-Ren [Truth, Compassion, Forbearance] is the path of return
Fulfill your promises, and embark on the path of return
      2018
      *
Pointing You to the Path of Hope
In chilly wind, I stand at the street corner, calling out to you
Not to spread a religion to you
At the end times Dafa is offering salvation
Only hoping you can read the truth-clarifying material
Gods are choosing lives-why don’t you want it
This flyer can save lives and eliminate disaster
Lies from the persecution have poisoned too many lives
Evil retribution incurred may come any moment
Because of this, I fear not suppression or hard work
This is a Dafa disciple’s compassion
This message is passed to you out of divinity
Not to seek payback from you
Seeing you clear about the truth, I will truly smile
The Fa boat that saves is about to weigh anchor
‘Tis the Creator who asks me to point you to the path of hope
      2018
      *
      Most People Are Gods Incarnated
I tell you the truth with songs I sing
Before disaster comes, the Creator is rearranging cosmic bodies
Most people are Gods incarnated, coming here to escape disaster
At the end times He asks us to save all people
The pit of fame, gain, and qing is bottomless
Words of disbelief in Gods follow demon’s logic
What modern notions and conduct harm is yourself
Knowing the truth, you will be cleansed by Him
      I am inspiring your wisdom

There IS a pro and con to everything, everything good can be used for evil purposes so one needs to be aware, *not to be paranoid but to be able to discern. IF you are grounded in a spiritual practice, like meditation on God, this is where it starts. God first. This helps you to feel or to know what to avoid and what is okay - this is your gut, your intuition, your internal radar that will guide you rightly. This is by first tapping into your God potential, your Soul which is within and connects you to God. This is done by meditation daily. "Going within". Then we are good to go - we can learn tools and techniques to improve but always staying true to the core of Who You Are. Even Jesus told us that we are more powerful than we think we are, and it is because we are made in the image of God who created us. Tune in first daily and then proceed to be a success in life. God bless us.

I think he hit it fear based aggression, greed, selfishness, peoples inability to take responsibility for their actions because they don’t want to. This first this life only we the people can change it and make it better. But the people at the top they’re the ones that are controlling, the middle and the bottom classes. But we, the people have to say no.

    • @Pete-b2z
      @Pete-b2z 10 месяцев назад +6

Perhaps your hypnotherapist wasn’t a particularly good one? Phobias are a distorted reality that we get into our heads which can be resolved. My fear of heights was resolved by my subconscious mind whilst watching someone dealing with their fear of spiders. Essentially the therapist was saying ‘some spiders can kill you so it’s a good idea to know which ones and how to avoid them, but here in the UK they can’t hurt you’. For me it was sensible to avoid jumping off a high place because it might kill me, but just because I was in a high place it didn’t mean I was going to jump. Likewise, some dogs bite so we’re as well not to randomly walk up to one and start fussing it, but the likelihood of walking along minding our own business and randomly getting attacked by a dog is as minuscule as getting hit by lightening. A good therapist will get that perspective back for you and McKenna was trained by the best, Richard Bandler.

Thank you, you're right about this. - My friend's brother saved his life when he had a heart attack in a local supermarket carpark - even this hasn't brought him to his senses! In a way I blame our Government for allowing people to shirk work under the banner of mental health. Because the Government are too scared to address the issue and confront many who are just lazy. I'm not criticising those who really suffer with their mental health because it's torture for some, and easy pickings for others,

The client does the work to create new neural pathways not the hypnotherapist. The latter simply guides the client to reconnect with their innate strengths and capabilities. Any therapist or coach that says they can make someone do something is misleading others.

Bit frustrating that the presenter didn’t explore what they were feeling. It’s almost bypassing the exercise Paul gave and didn’t give it its credit when here I am as a viewer listener doing the exercise immersing into the exercise feeling good about it I would love to it to have been explored by the presenters, but they simply bypassed it and wanted to arcs their own question. Bit of a shame really because the listeners would’ve liked to have learnt how they felt in at that moment, and then themselves have made it look as if it’s voodoo because they didn’t want to explore their own experience, and it’s not voodoo.
