    1. Look up, chin up, eye balls up, breath, blink
    2. Slowly close your eyes. Then slowly look down, chin down
    3. Take 10 steps down n going deep in relaxation. See, hear, feel your feet n touch the stairs.
    4. At the bottom, give suggestions to have pinky finger tingling n going up.
    5. Give your own suggestions now.
    6. Go up 10 steps feeling your body
    7. Open your eyes.

I do self-hypnosis before falling asleep, you stop yourself falling asleep then you fall into the state between awake and asleep, so you feel the subconscious while your conscious and your conscious while you're in a subconscious state, like being awake while your asleep and asleep while your awake, it's not only very peaceful it's also very insightful, you'll learn a lot while in this state by experiencing it.

Do you have any suggestions for how you enter hypnosis? I’ve suffered with insomnia for a few years and am trying different things (which led me here) and when I get acupuncture I get into sort of that liminal zone but i haven’t had success on my own.

It was like this before medical science took the place of the ancient woman healers and they founded the benzen based medicine school. They were a kind of chanellers between heaven and earth guiding women with specific stories or sounds, imaginning the perfect deliverance, creating a kind of this hipnosis, and a specific eneregetic cocoonduring the labour journey. So the sacred beings carring a new life here, a multidimensional being, as we all are to feel loved, cared at the most important moment. . Medics today reduce the bofy only at flesh and bones...no energetics, that' s why they induce anaestesia...We are beyond this reality they propagated. So happy for you awakened and you honour your sacred life mision and your gifts, your children. Blessings and blissings, wonderful soul! 🥰🤗🫶🙌🙏💖💫

Im a results person. I never really stick with something if i don't see immediate results, which is not exactly healthy, but I'm working on it. Last night, I found this video and gave it a shot. I normally listen to sleep meditation videos here, always looking for the best one. I am on a lifelong hunt for the perfect sleep. I LOVE to sleep more specifically, DREAMING. So last night, as I lay in bed, I tried this and was shocked to find myself in a very deep trance (deeper than I've ever been). My goal was to sleep deeply and wake up energized. I didn't actually walk back up the stairs, but I walked around the area at the bottom of the stairs and let my subconscious speak to me for a while. I eventually fell asleep, and the dream I had was so real that there was a point where I could actually smell my surroundings and even feel certain sensations. For Eg, I suddenly got the smell of a car battery when they go bad and rupture. Then, the feeling of burning in my throat when a caustic chemical is inhaled, followed by a bad taste, and began to cough in my dream. This all happened before I knew anything had happened because in the dream I was driving when I had all these sensations but nothing was really happening until, I turned a corner and saw that an apartment building EXPLODED! It was WILD!!! I can still kinda taste and smell it. It was that vivid. I have never had a dream like this before, and it may sound like a nightmare to some, but it wasn't like that at all.
The only explanation why I suddenly had this experience is the self hypnosis. I am FLOORED this worked so well. Plus, the next morning, I woke up WAY before I usually do (I'm on vacation atm) with no alarm clock. Granted, I wasn't as energized as much as I wanted, but regardless, I was awake and didn't go back to sleep.
If I can have such a strong reaction to using this technique only ONCE, I can only imagine what I can accomplish with daily use.
Life changing is an understatement, and it's only been ONE DAY!
I rarely give reviews on TY vids, and I am always low-key disappointed in the results of sleep hypnosis.
I have 4 days left of my vacation and am going to experiment with this by not taking my sleep meds and using self hypnosis instead, and use my sleep recording app to monitor my results. (I forgot to last night)
Seriously, though, this is an amazing technique, and I am excited to try this again, any time of the day, not just for sleep. I'm actually going to have a session now to get me motivated to clean the house. Thank you so much for this video.

Has this happened to anyone...I went in deep with the intention of losing weight. I felt a slight cramping in my stomach. The next day I felt weak at work and went home. For 2 days my body was going through an uncomfortable cleanse to the bathroom But I do feel more an urge for greens, which is a first! Thinking of sugar gives a salty bile taste in my throat...gross but definitely effective! This was uncomfortable but worth the trip. I understand why my body had to go through that due to what I have done to it all these years! Thank you so much Marisa!❤️❤️❤️

  • @J.A.706

I wonder if self-hypnosis works for shadow work. Sometimes when I "implant" a positive suggestion, part of my mind accepts it, but a conflicting part comes up for acknowledgement and release but it isn't a smooth process, causing the situation I'm working on to become worse, or the opposite of what I suggested. Many people have discovered that implanting lots positive things eventually backfires unless there's some way to heal and acknowledge the inner traumas that have been stuffed away and repressed for the lifetime, and sometimes even inherited from generations past. I used to believe that we could simply replace, for example, "poverty consciousness" with "wealth consciousness" and that would take care of everything. But if there is something deep within us that unconsciously believes "wealth is dangerous," it's going to come up to sabotage no matter how deeply we implant "I am wealthy."

I remember an old saying, 'where thought goes energy flows' and this is certainly true with hypnosis. I taught myself self hypnosis from a book years ago, but never paid much attention to it at the time, opting for meditation instead. Watching your video, has sparked my interest once again. The arm lifting technique still works for me, and that wonderful feeling of complete calmness is a wonderful experience. What I would love to know, is what are those blue fluffy clouds you see with your eyes closed, when you begin to go into the relaxed state. When this happens, I notice my self awareness completely focuses on these slowly swirling blue clouds. At times they seem to have sharply defined edges, whereas at most other times less so, that's always puzzled me. Great video thanks for posting.

@@user-vy6bx8wh1z I have noticed when this happens, it takes a little time before the clouds appear and it is just when I am entering a very relaxed meditative state of mind usually after about 10 to 15 minutes. Then I know I am there so to speak. Yes I can remember seeing purple clouds as well at times, although not that often, as you say they are rare. I have noticed time certainly seems to go by fast, sometimes I open my eyes to look at the clock and the minutes have flown by. I knew I was on the right track so to speak seeing those blue clouds, I call them clouds because it's the best way I can describe what they look like. They are only visible with my eyes close, and seem to appear in my field of view in the dark area behind my closed eyelids. I have been seeing this for years, so thanks for confirming they are really there as you see them to.

In summary: When doing self-hypnosis, know these facts:
    1. The mind only works in the present tense.
    2. The mind does not work in negatives.
    3. The mind responds primarily to images and words.
    In order to self-hypnotize,
    1. Get comfortable and relaxed.
    2. Roll eyes up as high as you can.
    3. Close your eyes, take three deep breaths, relax your shoulders, and lower your chin.
    4. Imagine a descending staircase and go down it, relaxing deeper and deeper as you do.
    5. Imagine a pulley pulling on your arm to test your suggestibility (If your arm moves with the pulley, you're ready for the next step).
    6. Start giving yourself suggestions, keeping the above three facts in mind.
    7. When you're ready, ascend the imaginary staircase and return to your conscious state.

I go in quite easily and deeply if someone else is hypnotizing me. I can also follow a guided session from a video. But giving myself suggestions seems to counteract my being able to get into an alpha brainwave or deeper state. I'm sure I actually was in an altered state but my arm wasn't cooperating and I've done that same exercise many times in a group setting where it did work. 🤔

Marisa, you are a fantastic woman. At first, your voice annoyed me. Then my friend sent me one of your videos and I heard and saw a woman who was passionate about helping others and had the tools we all desperately need. Now I see you as an angel and I love your voice. QUESTION: I don't know if you read these comments but I'm assuming you have an assistant who reads them for you. I want to hypnotize my severely autistic grandson (14 yrs old) because his life is often unhappy. He doesn't speak, he bangs his head into walls when he can't communicate. I was sent here to love him unconditionally and desperately want to help him, but doctors have no answers. What do you suggest?

My father, an MD in Nebraska, used hypnosis in his practice in the 196os - 1980s. He always started his sessions off with having his patients look up at the junction of the wall, ceiling and corner of his office. I noticed you also use a similar technique in this video. "After all these years I'm still wondering WHY?" Dad delivered lots of babies, helped people stop smoking, get past fears & test anxiety along with losing weight. He also told me that all hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis, he was just the guide. I have started using it but only as a form of relaxation.

    • @xxkissmeketutxx
      @xxkissmeketutxx Год назад +7

Whoaaa, your dad was doing this in the 60s??? He was waaaay ahead of the curve, what a pioneer! Especially given he was medically trained.
It's funny, I just saw a video on RUclips yesterday that said the exact same thing you just mentioned about all hypnosis being self hypnosis! 🤯
There are so many possibilities with hypnosis- everything from relaxation as you mentioned, to past life regression and so much in between.
Wishing you well, cheers from Australia

@@xxkissmeketutxx what do you mean by past life regression, could self hypnosis go wrong?!

    • @neva.2764
      @neva.2764 Год назад +4

@@dianakhayal7816 Past life regression is retrieving memories from another life you've had.
      Time is a human construct.
It does not exist outside Earth. We call another life experience a "past" life but you might also hear the term parallel life.
Technically that's more correct because on the other side of the veil everything happens simultaneously.
I won't make it too complicated.
      In short:
      - incarnation is a fact.
      - we call another life we've lived a "past" life.
      - some say "parallel" life. They mean the same thing.
An interesting book if you're open-minded is Robert Schwarz's Your Soul's Plan (the title might have changed but it shouldn't be too difficult to find online).

    • @xxkissmeketutxx
      @xxkissmeketutxx Год назад

@Diana Khayal that's the cutest misinterpretation 😆 As our friend has mentioned here, past life regression refers to reincarnations. Which i used to think was just a lazy explanation for the cycle of energy that athiests might use.
But a look into children with past life memories- combined with my supernatural experiences in life- has me convinced there's merit to the concept.
Simple self hypnosis should pose no danger to you at all. Quite the opposite. I have finallyyyyy been able to quit smoking after 23 years, due to hypnosis videos on yt.
Many professional sports players use hypnosis to maintain their mental edge. It can almost certainly help you too. Best wishes

@@neva.2764Just a little note here. A FACT is something that can be concretically proven, like through scientific experiment or test.
None of that "past life" stuff is a fact as I defined.
Those fall under category "belief", just like any religion.
Therefore, any "past life regression" under hypnosis is based on what that person believes to have happened, not what actually did.

1:25 actually that's kinda wrong. You need to use more of the David Hawkins approach. If you have anxiety, you can't just say "I'm confident" to fix it, cos' it's gonna be very surface level. You need to start with "I accept my anxiety", and then after a while go with "I'm confident".
Think about it, if you can REALLY accept your anxiety, it actually means to you are really confident. If you try to escape, run away from your anxiety, by pumping yourself with the "I'm confident" mantra, you not really that confident at all.... and you always gonna know it on subconscious level. Never lie to yourself, cos' it never works.

@@MarisaPeer Although I truly appreciate this and am grateful for your generosity of teaching it, I wonder how to apply this to addictions. Since this does not work for stopping negative behaviors and is only used for beginning/increasing positive behaviors, how does one use this to stop addiction behaviour whether to limit use in moderation and not binge or to quit the behavior all together. Porn, RUclips, Television, and Video games are destroying my life and unless I somehow am physically removed from them, which is impossible as an online student, I will continue to suffer from binges. Thank you for this and I will keep using your hypnotherapy for increasing my desire to work while I grapple with stopping my addictions.

I tried it again now and my arm just won't budge.
I've tried many hypnosis recordings for relaxation and sleep, but I never seem to be able to get into the relaxed state that is the aim.
Does this mean that I'm simply not hypnotisable?
