Unlike the first one this one didnt have any issues playing (the first one suffered some audio issues occasionally). I'm currently at the 5th one they've all been really great and original. It'd be cool if Sony decided to dish out some money to Media vision to make a 6th installment cause I mean it's not like the continuity matters in this franchise at all.

Bosnerdly 4 and 5 are great. They're different then the first 3 (4 more so than 5) but they're still very enjoyable. The battle system is very unique and the 4th one is probably the most challenging of the serie next to the 3rd one tho it doesnt quite rely on breaking the game as much as 3rd one.

I wanted longer versions of quite a few songs since from the wild arms I played so far this one has the best music together with WA4 (I dont mean the others are worse just that those are exceptional).It's pretty crazy how they managed to compress the music in this game, they're all around 1 kb large on the disc itself.
There's already a remake of the first one, it's called Alter Code F and sadly it's really bad. The other ps2 wild arms games are fantastic, totally worth a playthrough, especially 5 since it was built as an anniversary title and has lots of quests, themes and characters that reference the other games. Plus the combat system is one of the best on the PS2. 4th game is also good but it's really unrefined compared to the other ones.
I have it on my phone. Not too difficult to find with all the emulation sites out there. ePSXe is a decent enough emulator. Unless it's illegal in your country...
You can get it on zothar's domain if i recall. Tho that version is in the ps sound files. If i still have em as mp3 or wav i may consider putting it on google drive

bloody cactus That may be the case, I wasnt able to find an OST which featured longer loops and it annoyed me cause you can just listen to an unfinished loop of chapel/mystery dungeon theme (the one from the first dungeon where Tim joins) and feel satisfied.

For games I know I want to play from reputable developers I like to form my own option first and then look up what people think under gameplays and soundtracks etc. And yeah Wild Arms 2 overall has incredibly stellar reputation as far as I saw. But with Wild Arms 4 and 5 you'll notice that very few people are super optimistic and allot of times you see comments being defensive about enjoying the game or the soundtrack. Only criticism I ever heard about 2 is that the game's too easy and I agree with that. Until you get to Super Bosses there's like no challenge and every monster dies in a single hit. That's for example how I know Grandia Xtreme is hated beyond all reason despite being one of the most fun RPG's on the PS2. Hell with that game I only ever saw one person back me up in saying it's fun.
