Iam just sad that they slaughtered the headphone jack. Wireless headphones have small latencies and aren't as reliable as the wired ones. Just be happy with what you have for now trust me it can go fast. I have the last galaxy tab that has a headphone jack.
YOUSSEF CHAOUI That’s a huge part of the reason I’m super happy I went with the iPad Air 3! So much more reliable - especially for video, and no sense in burning the battery on my wireless earbuds if I don’t have to!
I would love to know when this will be available to purchase. I contacted Samsung, and their rep didn't know - just told me I could reserve it, which I had already done. I hope it's available by September, or I guess I'll need to search for something else that is NOT an Apple product 😀
I ordered the S7 plus 512gb wifi model and it's backordered but should ship by October 23rd. Guess they went really fast right away from day one. The specs on this tablet should be good for at least a few years I'd say. No lag and plenty of storage is usually all I need in a device be that a smartphone or tablet.
I am mainly looking for a tab thats a laptop replacement all time and not just on the go. Should I go for Tab S6 or Tab S7+. I hate LTPS IPS so S7 isn't a option for me.
I have an office 365 subscription on my microsoft surface. It is my work tool and it is very important for me. Will the office have its full capabilities on the galaxy tabs 7+?
@Izúre Lem Well yeah, Apple tablets are more versatile because they are better for people who don't know how to use tech, like elderly parents or kids, while the Samsung tablet is oriented towards people who are not tech novices. The S7/S7+ has 120 hz refresh rate now so that's no longer an advantage for Apple. Not so sure an average person will notice a difference in sound. The S7+ sounds great. The Apple pencil costs an extra $129, so it should be better than the one Samsung includes for no additional cost. What about the superior screen on the S7+? That seems like an essential that everyone would notice daily. I own both an iPad Pro 12.9 and a Tab S7+. I'm keeping the iPad Pro because I like it better for portrait mode reading for things like magazines and PDF files, and it happens to have an LTE modem which my S7+ does not, but the S7+ is better in enough areas to keep.
At time of writing this tablet is on sale for £650 which is way cheaper than the latest ipad, with Samsung you get the spen in the box however apple does not and charges an additional £50 or more for the pen. Yes the ipad is more powerful than the s7 plus but the cost, pen and the 12.4 inch screen is all I need. For what I intend to use it for I honestly don't need an overpowered tablet as I'm primarily using it for my artwork.
I think you're missing the point of Dex lol. It's meant for keyboard and mouse That said, all Android devices allow you to navigate normal Android via supported gamepads
@@davidvice9291 maybe. You're probably right. I'm NOT understanding what benefit you would get from trying to control an optional UI specifically designed for M&K with a gamepad. The regular version that's definitely gamepad compatible is already there... Unless he was asking if a gamepad would work for a game while IN Dex mode... In which case, of course it will. It's a new UI, but the apps are still android apps and will be compatible with whatever they normally are compatible with I'm open to being enlightened
Granted the way he worded it is not the best but id be suprised if he meant anything other than being able to use a gamepad, specifically the dualshock, while in dex mode for a game. Another use case scenario could also be to control wireless dex mode while moving around the room using a controller instead of using the whole tablet as a touchpad or needing to stand near mouse and keyboard, i doubt this is what he meant but is a use case scenario.
I honestly didn't know if Dex was the only option for outputting via USB c to HDMI. I plan to use a controller as I wanted to play Dolphin on my TV using the tablet. Wasn't sure if I would have to use DEX or if there was screen mirroring available

I'm an android guy, everything I have is Samsung except tablet. Went from tan s4 to ipad pro 12.9". I am now switching to tab s7+ and giving my mom my iPad pro. Finally a reason to not go to Apple for tablets!
At the start let me say that I have the Tab S6 and am happy with it. The biggest plus for the S7+ is the 12.4 inch screen almost makes me take advantage of the trade in offers at Samsung. The biggest drawback of this tablet is that it comes with Android 10 and it is unclear as to when if ever it would be upgraded to Android 11 or any other ANDROID UPDATES. Samsung does not have a great reputation in this area. Still great hardware.
It got android 11 at some point in 2020... and for those who kept up with the software updates it got android 12 one UI 4 with the latest security update this January. As for security updates thats where theyre slow at but you will get them eventually.
I ordered the s6 last week. Is there much difference? I wanted a good tablet just for college use, no gaming, and good display. Should I keep it or get the s7+?
S6 is already more than enough. If color accuracy means better screen for you then S6 has better screen than standard s7 since it use amoled screen. IMO, Tab S6 has the best tablet screen if refresh rate is not an issue (even better than ipad pro) I would say Tab S6 is still a good buy.
Screen size is the biggest difference. If it's important to you to have a little more real estate, go with the s7+. It's important to me. I have the S5e which has the same screen as your s6 will have and love it, but to me bigger is better because I don't worry that much about portability. 12.4" is plenty portable enough for me. The s7+ has a faster chip set and screen refresh, also.

None of the reviews I've seen address the headphones. The lack of a mini TRS is unfortunate, but does the USB support a microphone on the headset? Can you use headphones with mic to make Skype calls?
That's how you make a "review video", unlike the famous Marques LOL
Love the video, GSMArena
Heaven yeah🤩😍🤣🤣 same feel
Impressive hardware, but I’m still happy with my iPad Air 3! I am honestly very impressed with Samsung’s work on this one though!
Same
Iam just sad that they slaughtered the headphone jack. Wireless headphones have small latencies and aren't as reliable as the wired ones. Just be happy with what you have for now trust me it can go fast. I have the last galaxy tab that has a headphone jack.
Its not universal. Thats the issue
YOUSSEF CHAOUI That’s a huge part of the reason I’m super happy I went with the iPad Air 3! Still has a headphone jack and I use that all the time with my iPad and laptop still, even though I only really use wireless headphones on my iPhone. So much more reliable - especially for video, and no sense in burning the battery on my wireless earbuds if I don’t have to!
It's better than iPad air 3.....ipad pro is the only comparison to make.
Thank you, great review, subbed! 😁👌👍
Awesome review, thanks
Will I be able to answer calls on it from my Samsung Ultra 20 phone while driving?
I would love to know when this will be available to purchase. I contacted Samsung, and their rep didn't know - just told me I could reserve it, which I had already done. I hope it's available by September, or I guess I'll need to search for something else that is NOT an Apple product 😀

Omg, those speakers blew me away.
@Izúre Lem iPad Pro also can't compete with S7+ in multiple areas as well.
Very nice review
I love it
Finally a good review thanks a lott
At time of writing this tablet is on sale for £650 which is way cheaper than the latest ipad, with Samsung you get the spen in the box however apple does not and charges an additional £50 or more for the pen. Yes the ipad is more powerful than the s7 plus but the cost, pen and the 12.4 inch screen is all I need. For what I intend to use it for I honestly don't need an overpowered tablet as I'm primarily using it for my artwork.
my ipad mini 4 is 4 years old now...i might consider this? having said that mini tablets are really nice to hold
might as well wait for the lite version :)
@@shibepanic the normal S7 might as well just be the "Lite" version.

Can you use Samsung Dex with a game controller? Did you try PS4 Remote Play? Android 10 is supposed to support DualShock 4
I think you're missing the point of Dex lol. It's meant for keyboard and mouse
That said, all Android devices allow you to navigate normal Android via supported gamepads
I think you are missing the point of his question lol
@@davidvice9291 maybe. You're probably right. I'm NOT understanding what benefit you would get from trying to control an optional UI specifically designed for M&K with a gamepad. The regular version that's definitely gamepad compatible is already there...
Unless he was asking if a gamepad would work for a game while IN Dex mode... In which case, of course it will. It's a new UI, but the apps are still android apps and will be compatible with whatever they normally are compatible with
I'm open to being enlightened
I bought one! its great. went back and got the keyboard too, how do you turn on the backlight keypad for use at night?
Keyboard doesn't have backlight
Does it come with Phone app ? Does it could make a phone call and receive message from it SIM card ?
Great product rewiev and well spoken nice bro subscribed and liked video.

nobody mentions this but the s pen doesn't need to be charged to write or draw, it uses Wacom free battery pen technology, it only needs charging for air features.

Yo did it ever get android 11?
It got android 11 at some point in 2020... and for those who kept up with the software updates it got android 12 one UI 4 with the latest security update this January. As for security updates thats where theyre slow at but you will get them eventually.
Hello sir
Advise for me for buy phone range price 250$-300$ the best phone the price range
I ordered the s6 last week. Is there much difference? I wanted a good tablet just for college use, no gaming, and good display. Should I keep it or get the s7+?
Wait for the lite version
S6 is already more than enough. If color accuracy means better screen for you then S6 has better screen than standard s7 since it use amoled screen. IMO, Tab S6 has the best tablet screen if refresh rate is not an issue (even better than ipad pro)
I would say Tab S6 is still a good buy.
ปาพร เลิศธนสาร thanks, that was the answer I was expecting.
Now I’m not sure what to buy. The Tab S7+ or the Book Flex... any suggestions?
I'd recommend the S7+ if you don't do alot if work on it
Does it have fully loaded office suit as is available in most laptops. If not, then its not a substitute of a laptop.
this would be good for video editing?
Thanks

How does this impressive Tab from Samsung shortfall in comparison of IPad? Come on Gsmarena don't be biased
Are there very big differences between the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + and the S6 tablet?
Mainly 120hz display
120hz (only 60hz for the tab s6)
9ms latency for the Spen ( I believe the Tab s6 had 59ms latency)
The Spen on the S7 is 10x better than the weird pen samsung made on the S6
3 years of Software Updates ( Tab s6 has 2 years minimum)
Bigger Size ( 11/12.4 than the standard 10.5 of the Tab s6)
Wireless Dex ( Dex required connecting via a hdmi cable on the S6 to connect to a Monitor)
Dual Cameras... But most people really dont care for that
@@exeggutor4704 Nice list and I would add the back cover on the S6 is terrible, that is the main deal breaker for me. In the S7 it's magnetic and it works perfectly...
don't forget the chipset which supports 5g plus generally faster speed
@@pratiksamrut7328 true, even if this is probably one of the minor differences when you look at benchmark, 865+ is not much faster than 855, especially in multi-cpre, and 5G is relevant only if you plan to use it (have a second SIM card) and you carrier supports it. My carrier does not support it yet and honestly I'll leave my second SIM card in my (smaller) ipad pro, as the 12.4 will me more of a home device at it's size. What's more it's not lappable for use on the go...
