Jennifer, your tips and tricks just seem endless, much to my delight. I am amazed at how much my cardmaking has improved by applying your techniques. Thank you so much for your dedication, kindness and amazing talent.
You are such an amazing teacher. You manage to teach newbies the basics while imparting new tips and tricks to people who have been stamping for years. I really appreciate you.
That double embossing is wonderful! Seeing the difference makes me never want to "straight" emboss anything again!! I just love it, thanks for sharing!
OH MY GOODNESS!! Sweet Lady you answered the burning question for me!!! And you didn't even know. So embossing has been a problem, and I have asked many crafty youtube ladies. My embossing had dimples, why???? A lot of my supplies are older (that is a long story, mom passed) I didn't know how to make it look smoother, how??? So thank you so so very much!!! So now I must remember what to do (I have a brain injury and often a major problem, my memory). Save this video in my library and watch several more times. You are so smart!!! Creative and you made this semi-old ladies night!!! Yay me!! Thank you!
I don't know how you keep coming up with such beautiful cards. I sure am happy that you do. I always get excited when I see a new video. You give me so much inspiration! Thank you🙂
Such great tips! Layering the embossing powder really makes a big difference. All the cards are beautiful, but the last two are especially striking. Thanks for a great video!
What stunning ideas and beautiful cards, Jennifer. I particularly love the way you offset the gold outline die cuts which reminds us to play before we position our pieces :) Thank you for this lovely tutorial, your cards look good enough to eat!
You are so clever. I loved these dies as soon as I saw them and then you created this fabulous video to show so many great ways to use them. Thank you. The die goes so well with the retro look your created with the circles.
Such cheerful cards with the colors that you chose! TYVM for the tips that you shared, so often those are the things that make my cards just that little bit nicer!! You are greatly appreciated…. your talent, teaching style and generous heart! 💗
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CARDS! I always learn so much from you. Your creativity amazes me! The tricks you showed us really stepped up these cards. Thanks for the embossing hints. I’ve been a card maker for many years and I never knew the difference between putting heat on the back vs. the front. WOW…what a difference. TFS!!!!!
Wow.. You really share wonderful tip on how to look creatively at our products. So many wonderful uses you show us. And your cards turned out beautifully.
Thank you so much for sharing all those tips and tricks. I am a card maker for a longer period of time, and I always welcome those tips and tricks to get a better result. I never knew heating from the back of the cardstock gives a smoother result. Thank you for those tips and for the inspiration of all those beautiful cards 👍
How great a video for 3 days in a row!! All 3 videos are jam packed with so many helpful tips to use what we have. Thank you❤️. I am sure they are extra helpful to new card makers!!!
Great heat embossing tips, funny story, the very first stamp I ever bought in 1992 was a holly leaf and I was gold embossing to make tags. I did not have a heat tool so I was embossing from the back by holding it over my toaster! They came out great!
@Jennifer McGuire Ink • You gave a great tip to think of 5 ways you can use a die before you buy it. Desire for the die is a great motivator to think creatively. I also like the way you showed us how to modify a card in the middle of producing it (e.g., by adding a frame.) The contrast between the smoothness of an embossed sentiment from the back versus from the front was also helpful. I'm sure I'll remember it now because, to me, the smoother look is worth the extra time. Another great video showing us how to produce beautiful, unique cards. Thanks! 👍
Absolutely fab techniques, thank you. The layered circles behind changed the look so much, now I'm looking at every background die a little differently. Thanks for the video.
Hi Jennifer! I love learning from you and the many factors you explain for how you make decisions or use recycling so wisely! One of the unexpected tips was using a heavy counter tile sample as a weight!! Love it! So glad one of your fans was looking out for the well-being of your cell phone!! 😂🥰
I really enjoyed all the tips. Especially useful for me was the idea to emboss twice to reduce "pitting" and improve the smooth look. I would love to try using clear embossing over black, too - I get way too many black specks! And, finally, all the different ways you "backed" the cover plate with variations of flowers? Just incredible! Thank you.
Absolutely love these cards! I am a fan of bold, graphic designs and these really hit the mark. Thank you Jennifer for you clear, concise teaching style and all the tips and tricks you’ve taught me along the way. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend with those you love!
I’ve been trying to NOT buy new stuff, but I cannot watch your fantastic videos and see your beautiful cards without making a purchase! I LOVE your videos and your beautiful creativity! You are, in my opinion, THE BEST card-designer/maker in the universe. ❤ U JM!!! (Also, thanks for the beautiful thank you card!)
Thank you for your heat embossing tips! It is one of the things I struggle with. I watched one of your videos a few years back on using clear embossing powder over black ink and I have used it ever since. It sure improved how my cards looked and saved me a lot of heart burn. I so appreciate your generous sharing of tips that help us in our card making journey.
Whoa, so many videos! While this makes my creative heart so happy I hope you aren’t working too hard! Or, that your work is nourishing you. Thank you for teaching us. Lovely cards. I look forward to testing some of these tricks with my own stash! ❤️
I love the tone on tone look with the clear embossing. It’s hard to get hold of SSS products here but you’ve given me ideas that I can produce with basic shapes instead Xx
Thank you for those suggestions. I'm trying to be more sustainable and finding new uses of packaging instead of tossing it in the landfill is a great idea!
Love all the tips. These cards are all fantastic! I can't wait for my Fab Flower dies to get here! LOL Thanks so much for taking the time to make these helpful videos and share your knowledge!💖
Hi Jennifer, thank you for those tricks! I always try to re-use packaging (Altenew‘s dark grey glossy cardstock they use with their embossing folders is amazing to die cut or emboss!); I also use the little bags to store excess die cuts or bits and pieces of a given project I have yet to assemble. I also use the acetate sheets which come with stamps - sometimes for shaker cards, sometimes to cut my own masks or as work surface for messy jobs. I love watching your videos - such amazing inspiration! Kind regards fro Germany, Nicola
I know you have done some in the passed but I would love some new tips and tricks and especially tutorials for embossing folders and stencils. I have so many Mylar stencils it’s overwhelming and I was recently gifted a well moved but fully capable Big Shot and scored about 25 embossing folders for cheap before learning you can emboss a Mylar stencil extremely well with the correct “sand which” and now I am just itching for ideas and tutorials and your cards are always so fantastic and creative and BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for everything you do !
Gorgeous! You always have great tips and stunning results! I don’t always get to see your videos right away because they are a little longer so I save them until I have a day off and I’m never disappointed!!! Love your attention to detail!🥰
So fun to see you use the same heat embossing techniques that I do (although I hardly ever do them bc of the hassle… 😄 I love the look of heat embossing, just don’t like doing it. 😆
I need to ask please, you make your own cards to suit the size of card needed, I have a box full of store bought cards that are usually very small sizes (craft stores charge exorbitant prices for packs of these sadly). I don't want to waste them so how can I decorate them still following the projects you do ?
Wonderful tips, thank you! I usually do two layers of embossing as well. I just love the smooth results it gives. Your tip of a small circle die over the flower is amazing! I don’t think I’ve seen that before & it just opens up a lot of possibilities. I’m excited to give that a try. And I love the cards you made. They really turned out nice. This cover plate & companion die is just fantastic! Thank you so much for another fabulous video. PS- another video where you have 11K views, & 19 comments. Something is definitely off with RUclips.
Jennifer, your tips and tricks just seem endless, much to my delight. I am amazed at how much my cardmaking has improved by applying your techniques. Thank you so much for your dedication, kindness and amazing talent.

Beautiful cards, you always come up with fun new ideas, circles behind the apertures on the backing die is brilliant. Thank you.

Three days in a row...woo-hoo! Your tips are soooooo helpful. That really is a great die...I love that it has a matching single flower.
