Interesting video that one 👍 Think I need to reread the Aico manuals. I actually did the official Aico training course that work put us on a few years back, one of the things that the trainer over emphasised again and again is that you should never have a system that has a mixture of radio links and hard wired connections, it has to strictly be one or the other. Ever since that course that is what I’ve been doing. And I don’t know whether it’s just coincidence, but the majority of emergency call-outs I’ve had over the years where alarms have been nuisance sounding for no reason, it’s always been on circuits that have a mixture of radio links and hard wired, so I convert them to radio link only. I’m certainly not criticising what you have done, as I’ve watched several of your videos now and respect your high standard of work. I’m wondering whether it was crafty sales spiel by the trainer so they could sell more radio links and bases ! 🤣
Read the manual 👍🏻I also rang the Aico technical line as I didn't quite fully understand the wording in the manual before I did it and they said it was fine.
I install those rf modules and ei450 controller on social housing, cost adds up but the aico gear is faultless
Completely agree
