As an Electrician in the Airforce and for the Gov, this is so satisfying to watch. Repeatedly watching installs like this never gets old. I like your art work and the results of the installs. Beautifully done man 👊
Hey just a question, I’m having an amazing career in aviation with AA but I’ve looked into air national guard / reserves to become an electrician if flight school doesn’t permit. Would I become certified and skilled after MOS training? I’m new to this 🙂
From one sparky to another, good job and keep leveling up man you do damn good clean work my man this trade has given me purpose and value in my life and I'm sure it does for you as well
I watched it because I am trying to take as much knowledge from as many electricians as fast as possible. He reminded me I needed to get the carabiner with bit holders for my veto tp1 as well. Also picked up the volt claw combo pack 🙏🏼👏🏼✊🏼
looks good. one suggestion i would recommend clock receptacles or recessed receptacles for applications such as that fire place in the future. clients pays a bit more so they can push their fire place against the wall and you dont get call backs for them accidentally damaging their cords or receptacles. no call backs for extra work but most clients ive seen have given good reviews and talk up your business which attracts future clients to consider calling for your services over others. seems not worth the time at estimation but giving options and suggestions to clients goes along way and it builds that relationship and trust.
Yes, you would just need to make sure it meets code and all new services will need to be inspected by the city and the work needs to be completed by an electrical contractor. A junction box would need to be added where the old panel was so it can be spliced and ran to the new panel.
Power wire feeding that panel looks awfully small. Might be looking at it wrong. Any reason yall added a single gang box for a switch right next to a 2 gang switch box already there and not make it a 3 gang box?
So what would be the best route to getting into residential. I looked into the ibew but from what I know the apprentices are put in industrial and commercial job sites.
And when the apprentices graduate they go on to continue working in those areas. Personally im interested in residential cus from what I know union(ibew) electricians are considered “installers” as in service work is rarely ever done
I would look up on google local electrical companies that are open 24/7. Those will be all the companies that due service work. Get your apprentice license online & start applying. You don’t need any college education to start working.
I'm so impressed by your work. I am thinking about switching careers into this field, though I have absolutely no knowledge when it comes to it. Do you have any advice on how to get my foot in the door?
Look at pre apprenticeship “helpers” it might be a pay decrease depending on state. $16 an hr in OH. Then apply for an apprenticeship program. This will teach you everything you need to know in a 4 year program. Take the test for the “J-Card” Journeyman/woman Electrician and then you control your destiny from there! That is the longest but the safest and most effective way to get into the industry! If you do an apprenticeship through the IBEW union all classes will be paid!
Little tip would be drill a screw in the middle of the piece before you cut that way you will have something to hold to keep the cut out from falling in the wall 😬
What's the easiest way to be electrician in the U.S.? I'm new here in California and wanna be electrician. Is it possible with 1 year of training to be employed? Is there such training?
Yes! I would recommend new construction, commercial work. I see a lot of young guys on those type of job sites and you’ll start off doing simple tasks. When starting off in the trade, it’s a lot of hands on work. Once you get better, you’ll start learning more calculations and troubleshooting. Look up local electrical companies near you that are hiring and apply! All you need is an apprentice license. You can obtain it online for a small fee and they will mail it to you.
Nice video. Narration is better IMO but still good. Prices for the jobs would be cool. Im in PR so watching how u do things in the mainland is interesting. BTW we cant use 14 gauge wire in anything, our lowest allowable gauge is always 12.
I’m going to put more time narrating into my next one since that’s what people seem to like! Same here with the 12 gauge wiring! Only 12awg romex allowed in the city limits. This house was located outside the city limits so #14awg I allowed & used on some circuits. Dumb if you ask me but legal 🤷🏽♂️
Hello, your work is impressive! I am working in a vocational high school in South Korea as an English teacher. My students are majoring in Electricity Engineering, and I would like to show this video to my students. Also, I would like to run a major related lesson using your video. Would that be OK? It's only for educational purpose, not for commerical. I would appreciate if you allow me to do that :)
If I was an electrician, I would never use the name "Sparky" because it might come true. I consider that I'm a DIYer, Third Class. Thanks to videos like yours, I hope to graduate to Second Class. Please keep these videos coming.

Industrial Electrical Apprentice here! Love to see some good quality resi work!
Thanks brother! More to come!
how did you find your company?
All you need is to apply at electrical companies & get your electrical apprentice license! It should be easy!
quality of work, congratulations from Brazil.

Flawless ! ⚡️🤙🏽
Well produced my friend.
You should do a video explaining on how you guys ran the wires thru the service panel. Thanks for this video btw great job.
Looks awesome i wanna learn something😭
Hi, I'm Brazilian, I'm learning, a lot of your work.
when alone sometimes i use my cheapie amazon $20 endoscope which goes to my phone screen
On my way to become an electrician this is so inspiring
You are pulling 12Ga. Is the breaker for the heater 15A? If not, I think you need a 5-20R because it is a single outlet (location)
Good eye! We installed a 15a breaker for the dedicated circuit 5-15R. We ran out of 14awg romex so we had to take the loss & use 12awg romex.
Um dia ainda vou trabalhar nos EUA com eletricidade ❤
Can I Install a new main breaker, meter base etc. next to the existing one before cutting service off and removing the old one?
Yes, you would just need to make sure it meets code and all new services will need to be inspected by the city and the work needs to be completed by an electrical contractor. A junction box would need to be added where the old panel was so it can be spliced and ran to the new panel.
What gauge wire was feeding that inside panel? Looked like 8 or 6 but had ALOT of circuits feeding off it.
Power wire feeding that panel looks awfully small. Might be looking at it wrong. Any reason yall added a single gang box for a switch right next to a 2 gang switch box already there and not make it a 3 gang box?
Good work Brother!
🙏🏽🤙🏽
nice work 💪🏾
hey man thinking of getting into electrical work and was wondering where a best way to start
Are you in the USA?
wonder how much hourly pay is
How much do you make from a job like this
Should you avoid this trade if you don’t like heights?
Not necessarily. A lot of people are afraid of heights but just like presenting in front of a class … you get used to it over time.
Good on you , nice vid !
Is that number 6 feeding that?
I’m only 35 and definitely use a kneeling pad! Gotta protect yourself from wear and tear. Shalom

Clean work doode. Just curious to why you didn’t go for a 3gang box instead of a single and a double?
Keep it up though!
Customer request! 👍🏽
Great video 👍👍
Why 12 for Gen. lighting?
Deserves way more views
Thanks man! I appreciate the love! 🙏🏽
Little tip would be drill a screw in the middle of the piece before you cut that way you will have something to hold to keep the cut out from falling in the wall 😬
Never thought of that tbh 😂 I like the subie on your pic! I just sold my bugeye! 😢
What's?? 12-2 for lights???
I gonna get into the trade and I was wondering how is the money side of things to this trade ?
It all depends if it’s residential, commercial, industrial. Union or non union. And location … every state has different rates.
Is residential electrician and residential electrical technician the same thing
What's the easiest way to be electrician in the U.S.? I'm new here in California and wanna be electrician. Is it possible with 1 year of training to be employed? Is there such training?
I’m not from California but I think it’s a union state. Google the local electrical union in your area 👍🏽
Whats a level?
Yooo
Do you make these beats?
im 19 didn't do that well in school would you recommend this trade :)

@@sparky_izzy thanks for the info man hopefully everything works out
So long as I'm the guy on the ground and not in the attic I would thrive
I am tecnition electric .
How i can working at your place .can you bring me to work
after a long day of finding the home runs on outlets with there wires stubbed to the box, your length made me jizz a lil.
Solid 👍🏼
Wouldn’t white wire be cheaper
I am electrician from india,i thinnk this is more easier than our wiring system
No need for 12 awg on lighting especially using led lights...
There are local electrical codes in every City that you are not considering. Some require 12awg minimum.
Hi brro . It's a good job
Your videos are good but you need to say what you are doing and how you do it and all that stuff .
Thank you! For this video specifically… if you turn on subtitles, I explained everything. I mentioned it at the beginning 👍🏽
@@sparky_izzy hey you can consider doing voice overs. That way you can properly narrate the video without having to while doing the work
Yes, if you see all my latest videos … I have switched to voice overs 👍🏽

With this many breakers, you only use 6 awg wire. Good luck bro
