Why is the meter and short curcuit protection not mounted in the same enclosure as the fuses? Thats how we did it in Norway before, now its monted in a stand alone cabinet outside of the house.

From the united states so my receptacles look different. But i'm still pretty sure even if it Was Hot. He would Not receive a shock as I believe that is the ground port. On the top. Now, if They stick it into one of the ones on the bottom sides. They would receive a 480 V. Shock and probably fly against the wall. My experience may be all over the place. When I moved into my house found a spur buried in the wall in my kitchen from a living room socket for another socket 😂 Even better when I removed the tiles on the other side found another spur left connected and live in the wall😅 lucky I didn’t electrocute myself, I was ripping the tiles of with a crow bar
