    Just day to day sparky videos
    If you like it, that’s cool, if you don’t, that’s cool as well.
    Remember, context is important, I can’t show/film every part of every test otherwise I’d still be there now😂just assume I’ve carried it out correctly

    I’ve always come in through the back of boards for the last 15yrs. Batten either side ply ontop then pink plasterboard to finish with the board ontop. I’ve seen the fusebox frames going to give it a go on the next one 🤟

    If the board is mounted with regard to.fire/fumes escape...eg. backing material substrate etc. .then you've eliminated an escape route....And without making a mess ....I'm with you on this

    I absolutely agree with the fire sealant and boards, avoided it forever and finally admitted defeat today and filled a brand new board with fire sealant on rear entry, looks like shite, a pain in the arse for the next guy to get in. Won't be doing it again.

    Fire sealing the back of the board is stupid. It’s only required when you have breached a fire barrier in a property.
    People talk about flame can come out the back etc, I can assure you by that point all the RCBO’s have melted and you’ll have a massive gap in the front of the board.
    Just my view.
    I Like the backing plate. Always out of stock tho, However white door stops from Screwfix work too 😉.

    How do those Fire strips work that you put in all your boards? Do they burst into foam that fills that board?

    How do you get the label printer to print evenly in the same size font? What font size are you using?

    • @bristolsparky
      @bristolsparky  Месяц назад +2

      Click on text size and set a size before printing otherwise they’ll come out to whatever fits the width of the patch panel setting
