Story time:
I bought the szechuan hot sauce from one of your videos. The bottle was really hard to open. When I finally got it open the bottle must have been under so much pressure that it exploded all over my face, arms, and kitchen walls. My body was on fire for the next hour and the bottle continued to foam in the sink for hours. However, the story doesn't end there. I had the bottle in the sink and some soapy water had gotten into it when I was washing the sauce of myself, but not enough soapy water to really notice a consistency change. I went to take a shower and when I got out my brother made a comment about how weird the hot sauce in the sink tastes. Yes, out of our many bottles of hot sauce my brother decided to use the one in the sink?? Luckily the bad soapy hot sauce didn't make him sick.
There must have been something wrong with the sauce maybe with pH or for another reason that caused what I think was fermentation in the bottle. They said they'd send me a new one, but I never got it and realize that it's probably a good thing and got a refund instead haha.
I have a picture of the sauce explosion all over me and the kitchen, but pictures can't be attached to comments on here.
I'd love some new wheels. I can't use my board rn because I put the only wheels I had on it which are massive causing wheel bite with the smallest turns.

When I was younger, my mom would use hot sauce to punish us with when we would use bad words. So my brothers and I would dare each other to drink all the hot sauce so we wouldn't burn our mouths when we would have a bad word slip out. Cause there was no more. Haha mom you lose!!

each bottle cost the same amount as a 16oz bottle of truffle olive oil, which is what is used to "infuse" truffle flavor.

I absolutely love them both. My most used hot sauce and I have a ton.
My favorite hot sauce is Tabasco...hands down. I work with a guy who carries a 5oz bottle in a holster...absolutely absurd but he is, nonetheless, my hero. Here's kind of a funny salsa story although not my memory because I was two years old. When my brother was four my Dad began to realize he had to buy increasingly hotter salsa so that my brother wouldn't eat it all....didn't work as it turned out my brother had a higher pain tolerance to hot sauce than my old man...even at age 4. This is a conversation between my 4 year old brother and our father. Greg : "Dad, how hot is dip?" Dad: "It's hot." Greg: "is it hotter than the sun?"

Eh, just a subjective thing. My wife never ate any hot sauce but the occasional red hot till she tried the truff and now we always need a bottle in the fridge. Chicken tenders, eggs pretty tasty stuff

Fresh truffle is very mild and understated compared to stuff like this.

I thought truffle oil was just meant to mimic truffle. I don’t think this sauce actually has truffle.
I found some of the black Truff in my pocket at the grocery store today. Ive eaten both white and black fresh truffles and many infused foods. I find it a bit underwhelming in taste. The thing with truffle is to get past the smell and thwn the taste takes over and the smell sort of goes away. The truffle taste didnt meet the smell, exactly like you said. Tastes the way sriracha smells when you first open the bottle.

I think I've commented this before but I'll say it again. You should try to get a company who makes a spicy snack, i.e. spicy chips, crackers, etc, to sponsor you and then taste all of your sauces off of said snack food. It'd be an easy mention in each vid, "Hey will be loading up our spicy Doritos (or whatev) today with...."

I’ve had the white TRUFF, it was pretty good. I don’t know if it’s worth the $30 price point.
I have not tried the black TRUFF, but my brother said it smelled like dirty socks and tasted rotten.... however someone else I know loves the black TRUFF.

@@guyh2020 Apparently it's truffle-infused olive oil. That's a big difference from synthetic truffle oil that they make with 2,4-dithiapentane

I don't really need the sauce, nor do I have an Instagram. But I figure I'll share one anyway. My buddies and I got ahold of Dave's insanity sauce and we decided to prank a buddy with it. I put a teeny little toothpick sized dab on the filter of the cigarette he bummed from me....oh what a good night. Hahahaha =P keep it up Brian, love watching the channel grow! =]

Great review as always but in my honest opinion i was not a fan of truff at all over priced over hyped i thought truff was disgusting
If truffle is as polarizing as Brian says, I love that Sam claims to have had truffles and then doesn't remember what they're like. He tries it and is disgusted.
Real truffle can be rather mild but truffle oils are like extracts and are strong and a few drops can be overpowering. He may have had real truffle before but never anything with the oil
$18 for such a small bottle and on their company's promotional ads, they pour literally the whole bottle in one sitting for just one meal. So every time you pour, you're paying $18. The reason why Sriracha is more popular is because it only takes a few drops which changes the whole dish and its aroma spreads like a drop of ink in water. However for Truff, the amount of flavor you're getting is like a drop of water in ink; in other words, you need to pour a lot to get the flavor.
