In this universe it is implied that Germany is hit exceptionally hard by the great depression and, I apologize if that was not clear enough. Think of it as if the roles were reversed in our timelines WW2. France is the one rapidly industrializing while, Germany was underprepared and underdefended.

i really like this movie, i really do… but this has a lot of inaccuracies 8:20 back then, when people said moldova they meant the northern half of romania. what romania was demanding was bessarabia, which included the wierd ukraine panhandle. 11:18 the romanians wanted bukovina too… 11:45 not only did poland annex eastern slovakia, what are this poznan borders?? you should have just restored the old kingdom of poland borders 14:06 budapest not bucharest those are just a few i pointed out, and don’t take this wrong, i mean no hate, but if you have problems drawing borders you can use a hoi4 province maps as reference.
